I am actually in Tyler at the loop and hwy 31... but had to leave a review on this popeyes because the Kilgore crew is here working... I frequent Popeyes and I've made a few reviews but I had to sit out here in the parking lot and give a review today. As stated above, I'm at the Tyler location and first I want to say that the food is typical Popeyes, it's good. This location is usually pretty clean and it's always good and they've always done a pretty good job at customer service but today was probably my best Popeyes experience ever. It was probably my best fast food experience ever. I left out of that store feeling great about life in about Humanity, the whole nine yards. The Kilgore crew, GM Willie Woods, employee Matt Freeman and employee Corey Huff we're probably some of the most nice people I have ever met with excellent customer service. Willie Woods was running that place like a true champ. They were busy and he was all over the place. Matt Freeman was the guy ringing me up and he had to be the most polite and humble young man I have ever encountered. His parents should be super proud that they raised an awesome young man. Same goes for Corey Huff, super customer service skills and a great attitude. They were all smiles and doing their job perfectly. If I own a fast food chain or anything for that matter I would definitely want this crew to run my place. Popeyes you made an excellent decision hiring these guys....
Read moreAbsolutely the worst Popeye's I have ever been to. I'll make this short. Lobby was closed, so I had to order through the drive-through. My vehicle wouldn't fit, so I walked up and they graciously took my order.
As I was standing there, another customer rode up and almost hit me. I'm a big guy and easy to see. She cussed me out. I let her get her food and leave while I was still waiting for my food.
Once I received my food, I walked back to my RV to discover that the order was wrong. I walked back. Again, lobby closed. Okay, no problem. I walked back up to the drive-through. This time, it was packed. Was finally able to tell her about the order issue.
She proceeded to serve everyone who came through the drive-through for the next 30 minutes. I stood out in the rain and waited for my food. Once received, I proceeded back to my RV to find out that the lobby had opened.
Once I opened my food, I found out that is was overcooked and my sides were missing.

They finally added their gravy to their online ordering and we ordered 6 of them thinking they would be the size of their 4 oz containers because that's what was in the picture. No, what we got was these little condiment containers HALF full that cost .99. I called them up and talked to the manager and she said that her workers probably thought that those containers where what the gravy went into and the other sauces cost .99 that goes into those same containers. No they do not, on the website they cost .25. I'm so sick of people not being trained properly and mangers making excuses to cover up their own short comings. On top of that we got stale, STALE food and we ordered 80.00 worth of it!!!!!! We will NEVER be coming back. This is just down right ridiculous. Mangers just don't care anymore, they aren't rotating their product probably. Just letting it sit under the heat...
