My first and last time coming to this place. I'm going to assume that I just came in on the wrong day. Not only was my food not seasoned, but it also took forever for them to prepare it. The only reason why I even received my food was because I walked up and asked what was taking so long. The two guys (of a Hispanic decent) were very nonchalant and rude when asked what was taking so long in preparing a simple Seaweed Salad and Miso Soup. I understood that they were short handed and it was also a little busy, but the attitude was completely uncalled for. I wasn't even upset. I simply just asked for my money back. NOW onto the rice. I ordered the vegetable fried rice, (before I continue, there were only two people working in the kitchen, so I wasn't upset by the amount of time it took per say, it was really just how it was handled) that took a while for them to cook as well. Again I wasn't upset about the time, what pissed me off about the rice was that it was BLAND. Like BLAAANNNDDD! If you're going to take a million years to throw some frozen vegetables and jasmine rice in a take-out box, honey at least make sure it's seasoned. I had to season it myself with soy sauce and salt and pepper. I will admit too taking a few bites, but was still dissatisfied nonetheless. Nicole was an absolute sweetheart and gracious enough to refund me my money. Also, the Caucasian girl with her hair shaved on the sides was nice as well. She had to clock out but still helped me before she did. (GIVE THEM A RAISE YESTERDAY!!!) The Caucasian lady with two long braids down her back looked to be the only person cooking the food, so I wasn't upset because home girl was hauling butt. However, she was touching the food and did not use gloves. Not Cool. The two gentlemen on sushi we're not my favorite people in the world and the other workers were walking around talking and giggling, while homegirl was in the back moving as fast as she could. "All hands on deck," when it's busy is definitely NOT the motto for Kogi Bowl. Cashiers and servers were too busy joking around, to help out the poor girl in the back, I guess. I won't be coming back, but Keana WILL be getting a call from me tomorrow as well as whoever her boss is. ALSO!! The sign showed they were hiring outside of the door for servers and cashiers, but what they really...
Read moreI was looking for sushi near West Fort Hood and found this place. I went during lunch on a Wednesday and had my to-go order in by 1201(Happy Roll and Spider Roll). I sat at a table and waited because I expected some sort of wait. However, what I didn't expect, was to sit there and watch person after person walk in and get seated and have their food served before me. This went on for 35 minutes until one of the employees came over after she saw that I had been sitting there a while, with a much lower number than those that had already gotten their food (the restaurant goes by a numerical system). She went and checked on my order and after a few minutes came over and said that all that was left was my two rolls. To which I responded that all I ordered was two rolls. She then told me 5 more minutes and went back to the counter. It was very obvious that my order had been either overlooked or lost because the owner had the employees gaggle around him as he spoke to them. As I continued to wait, there were two other men sitting at a table next to me that had ordered about 5 minutes after me; One had his food and the other was still waiting, like myself. I guess the employee noticed that the man didn't have his food either so she finally addressed him as well. After she walked off, the man looked at me and chuckled in disbelief. He said that this happens to him every time he comes here. The owner was there the entire time, watching and fully aware of what was going on, and offered no apology or anything to correct the issue. I am not the type of person to leave bad reviews but, I thought anyone considering going to this place should know that there's a high possibility that their order will be misplaced. FYI - I got there at 12, ordered by 1201, and got my food by 1250. For what it's worth though, the rolls were...
Read moreSo me and my daughter went into this restaurant after hearing how good the ramen was. We both ordered ramen she ordered beef and I ordered regular but added broccoli because Iâm trying to stop eating meat. The ramen was actually good until I started noticing little black and brown things in the broth at first I thought it was just pepper flakes but after taking 3 little black spots out and putting them on a piece of paper napkin I saw little legs and automatically knew they were fruit flies you know I wasnât even up set I went to the front asked the cash register employee to come look at the broth which he did and agreed with me in seeing the bugs I just assumed they just didnât rinse out my bowl because when I checked my daughters her ramen didnt have the fruit flies I even had veggie fried rice and nothing so the cashier told me he would refund me but i actually liked the ramen and just asked if they could remake it for me without the fruit flies. He said yes they could so we waited about 5 to 10 mins he bring the to go packages food back to me and me and my daughter leave. So I told myself let me Check this food cause I just had a feeling they didnât remake it. And of course they didnât or if they did I still had fruit flies in the broth and the bowl was under half full which also made me feel they just poured the left over broth in a to go container and didnât remake my broth orrrrrrr the fruit flies that day where in the big pot of ramen broth!!!! Be careful eating here please unless you enjoy fruit flies!!!! I wish I would have took a picture but isnât slipped my mind!!! Oh and on top of all that the pricing is way expensive I spent over $50 And it was just me and my daughter and I couldnât even get a remake of my broth smh!!! I want to give no stars but you have to give at least one to leave...
