The only reason I give this restaurant 2 stars is because of the young gentleman that was behind the counter helped me take the food out and with care and hospitality I am going to try to make this short and simple let's get into the legal source of the situation I parked in to go in and pick up a food delivery and before I was fully inside the door I was greeted by a rude Food merchant worker who was behind the counter she talked to me as if she was in code enforcement and proceeded to let me know that I parked in a handicap space and I needed to move my car over for future reference and do not park there but as she told me this she yelled at me she hollered at me it was 2 other customers inside the restaurant I was the only minority she was filled with hate and anger and disregarded regarded what I was there for did not ask me anything just started Instead being aggressive violent indignant to me. I politely educated her and informed that I have handicap registered permission. I told her I was from Michigan so it's not on front plate and her rude self talking bout what the state of Texas require. I then ignored her dum self n got my orders cuz I was not gonna mess up my money cause of one bad egg but I will never deliver for them again and I dam sure not eating there. This 2022 n racism is not part of my vocabulary...TY...

First time eating here. My mom's second time. She came in yesterday and liked it so she recommended us going today.

The cashier/taking our order was very impatient. She seemed annoyed bye waiting for my mom who was looking through the chip selections. The cashier wasn't friendly. Kind of like she was on autopilot and hated her job! (With a passion)

She walked off as we were waiting for the card to process. Then made our food with no gloves! And the other female employees weren't wearing gloves either when handling food.

We told her we were eating it there. And still got it to go. Had to go to the counter to get it which is no big deal but there was no employee to show me where it was. Luckily my mom had seen where they put it and one of the male employees helped me. He looked apologetic.

Everyone who ordered on the pizza side had their food brought to them.

Very disappointed!

Positive note, the male employee saw me and heard me mention the sweet tea was out to my mom. He quickly apologized then said to give him 7 mins to make new ones. He also told us to becareful because the floor was a bit wet. He then promptly cleaned it up and worked on the tea. When it was ready, he personally told me! Loved that! He also wished us a great day. Mom said he worked yesterday and was super awesome then...

Holy Hannah, this place is LEGIT. Absolutely fantastic service, everyone there was so nice. But the food? The drinks? Yes. All the yes.

As two east coasters in Texas...my fiance and I were ecstatic to hear that the place is owned by New Yorkers. They serve a Jersey favorite - Taylor pork roll (Taylor Ham) - which my fiance hasn't had since he moved from back home to Texas.

I didn't get a chance to take a photo of his sandwich... He ate it before I could do so. The espresso is awesome - this was the best latte I have had since I worked at a place similar back home and could make my own.

They have a huge menu - from breakfast sandwiches to subs. They make their own New York style bagels in-house, and tons of "specialty cream cheese" which comes in many flavors. I can say from experience - The sweet jalapeno: a sweet base with fresh jalapenos. The flavor is awesome, and its the perfect depiction of "sweet heat". The cinnamon sugar: the perfect combination of sweet cream cheese and cinnamon. Its not too sweet, and it doesn't leave a weird filmy aftertaste like the Philadelphia Cinnamon cream cheese does.

Bite the Bagel DOES have a rewards program - and we will 100% be returning...probably quite often. 10/10. Keep up the...

dropped into Bite the Bagel in Killeen and went straight for the Alaskan Assassin, a sandwich built for anyone who takes their meat seriously. This beast comes stacked—pastrami and bacon layered together, pepper jack throwing down the heat, and all the classic toppings riding shotgun: lettuce, tomato, red onion, the whole crew. One bite in and it’s clear—this isn’t just lunch, it’s a full-throttle flavor hit. The pastrami brings that smoky, savory depth, while the bacon snaps through with a salty crunch. Pepper jack cuts in like a sharp riff on a guitar, and the oil, vinegar, and mayo tie everything together, keeping the ride smooth. Honestly, it’s a killer combo. My only note? I’d run it with extra sauce next time—just enough to really drench the edges and crank that flavor into overdrive. Bite the Bagel doesn’t mess around. The vibe’s casual, the food is bold, and the Alaskan Assassin is proof they know how to build a sandwich that hits hard and leaves you grinning.
