I'm honestly not sure who the team member was working the shift at this store at 5:10 pm on Monday March 18, 2024, but it seems she is seriously lacking in customer service. I did order door dash and I ordered 2 subs and a total of 4 cookies; 2 chocolate chip, and 2 double chocolate. I will attach a picture of my receipt as well. Each cookie was $0.94. So for all 4 it would come to a total of $3.76 (before tax). My dasher called me while in front of the lady, to inform me they were out of chocolate chip cookies and asked what I would like instead. I asked if I could double up on the double chocolate. The lady told him they were out of double chocolate as well.... so I had to now get replacement for 4 cookies. My son is picky (understandably not the establishments problem) and doesn't like any of the 3 other cookie choices (oatmeal raisin, cheesecake something, or macadamia nut) so I simply asked if instead I could get 2 bags of Chips instead of the 4 cookies.... apparently that is not allowed. The lady explained the exchange must be of equal value.... each bag of chips is $1.90 on DD.... 2 bags is $3.80.... so because of 4 cents I couldn't get this exchanged since they were out of both cookies I asked for? I wasn't rude and I don't feel I was unreasonable. I work in food service in hospitality as well. I understand rules are rules but I also know about customer service/satisfaction, and 4 cents is not worth an unhappy customer. I then said ok forget the cookies and chips, I will contact DD to get a refund for the cookies I won't be receiving. I guess the lady got upset about that and gave the dasher a hard time about giving him my subs. This poor man! I mean just put yourself in this situation.... its quite absurd. Perhaps she misunderstood what I meant and assumed I was going g to cancel the order in its entirety, but I wouldn't cancel an order because some items were unavailable because that would be ridiculous. I firmly believe she could've replaced my cookies with 2 bags of chips, because to fuss over $0.04 is also ridiculous. My dasher ended up telling her I still wanted the food, and he told her to cancel the cookies... as in all 4 which he stated. He arrived with my subs and 2 DOUBLE CHCOLATE COOKIES........ Absolutely insane. My point is that this lady could highly benefit from some coaching on customer service. I also called the store to speak with a manager. The lady who answered said there wasn't one available, but that I could speak with her as she was a team lead. I politely declined and asked when a manager would be in, and she informed me in the morning. I won't be calling. Their was an African lady as well as a Hispanic male working their that night. She asked me if I was trying to order a sub with a very aggressive tone in her voice and of course I said yes. She told me to give them a minute. So I decided to use the bathroom then she stopped me and told me to go ahead and order. The lady's attitude was so horrible I was scared to ask her questions about my sandwich. She was angrily rushing me. As she and the Hispanic guy was preparing my sandwich I went to use the bathroom. When I came out the bathroom, I heard both of them talking about me for no apparent reason and snickering. The Lady looked at me with an angry look like I did something wrong which I didn't.

I pull up to the Subway thinking I could get a quick bite to eat as I have been digging their Veggie sandwich lately due to a friend putting me on. When I get inside I see there is a wait as only one employee is working. She is taking orders as quickly as she can when something tragic happens. Just then another employee comes in to clock in and starts to get to work. She's taking orders and completing sandwiches as the Telenovela couple stands at the counter looking strange. You would think the guy would pay for his lady food as he was all touched up on her, but no he does not. Maybe he did not want his wife to see the bill I don't know but now it's her turn and the machine goes down.
