I came to get corn and flour tortillas from here to make my family chicken enchiladas with a few days ago. I believe the corn was marked as $3.50 and the flour was $3.75. Assuming this was per dozen I requested a dozen flour and two dozen corn. Was pleasantly surprised when the girl at the counter told me that they didn't sell dozens and the prices were by pound. I think i ended up with about 40 corn and 20 flour tortillas for around 8 bucks with tax. I am used to paying 6 or so per dozen at Rosas and they only have flour tortillas available to purchase. I used to love the tortillas from Rosas but recently they have become flavorless and they dry out after a day âŠ. I highly suspect that they switched their recipe from either butter or lard to vegetable oil because it is cheaper. Regardless i had still kept buying them because don't normally have time to make them by hand and I hate prepackaged tortillas and the only other place that makes tortillas is H-E-B and I like the ones they make even less than less than the ones from Rosas. I am so happy that I stumbled across this new business and that we finally have a decent place to buy tortillas in Killeen. The tortillas from this business were PERFECT. The corn were very thin and fresh and nice and flexible to work with. The flour were just WONDERFUL! Perfection really, they were thin with a ton of flavor and four days later they are still really really good with about a 5 second warm up in the microwave. They taste like they are using real butter although it could be lard. Whatever they used it made them have a fantastic flavor with a shelf life that was way way longer than i expected. The ones from Rosas are pretty much ready for the trashcan after 24 hours and these have lasted and still tastes just as good after 72 hours and counting. I will never buy tortillas from anywhere else! This is the place to go, great product and great price. If they could change anything at all I think it would be nice if they had a really good and flavorful but VERY VERY mild salsa. There mild salsa was way way too hot for me. I am a total wuss when it comes to spicy food but I still love Mexican food and love to eat chips and salsa. Its very frustrating having to constantly order queso at every Mexican place I go to because they have no very mild salsa options. I would love it if there was very mild fresh salsa I could purchase and take home because I donât always have time to make my own and I am very tired of having to make due with Old El Paso âWild for Mildâ from a jar because thats the spiciest I can deal with. Help a gringo out here please and make some no...

Read moreI came here yesterday and tried out their breakfast tacos. I had chorizo with egg and huevos rancheros. You could taste the freshness right off bat and I appreciate them having an assortment of salsas you can try and the chips are made in house. I brought a friend with me today and I had the quesobirrias and she had a chicken enchilada which were so good.
Everything here is made to order which I appreciate and I like that everything is open and visible everyone had on gloves and hairnets were used. It was a special treat when we were offered a fresh corn tortilla right off the machine, please donât change any of this! Thereâs salsas, tortillas, and other items available for purchase.
I canât wait to come by on the weekend for soup (not sold during the week) The only thing I recommend is a slide type covering for the chips because as it gets hotter, there will definitely be flies.
Quality food, made to order, we will be...
