Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in King City

So, I feel a little weird giving such a good review to a fast food restaurant, but this particular Carl's Jr earned it. I can't believe how good the customer service is here. This is not a shill Yelp review...completely genuine.

Wifey and I were driving along the 101, and she had a hankering for some fast food. We just so happened to stop in here. The guy who took our order was very charismatic and cracking actual funny jokes with us. He was extremely polite and gracious. He promised the food would be out shortly. Sooner than later the food was delivered by a different Carls Jr employee. She, too, was extremely polite and helpful. She provided a bit of small talk before she left our table. She eventually came back to our table (along with every other patron in the establishment) to see if we needed anything else. She brought us more ketchup. Then the manager himself walked an order out to a waiting vehicle outside. On his way back, he personally thanked us for dining with them.

As for the food, it was what I would expect out of a Carls Jr (fairly tasty; their chicken sandwiches are yummy), but the service made us feel like royalty. Carls Jr corporate should really come to this location to see how customer service is supposed to be like. Kudos to you, King City Carls. Well...

I usually use the drive thru when I go here, always good service, but today I walked in with some friends to get a to go order. The 3 of them ordered their meals for dine in and I ordered separately since I needed to head back to work quickly, no issues right? We went and sat at one of the tables and they received their food in about 5 minutes, really good time... for them. I figured my order was right behind them so I didnt bother with it and waited for my number to be called. 15 minutes pass from the original order time and still nothing so I decided to go back up to the counter and see what's going on. I waited patiently as there was only one person manning the front, but... I was completely ignored, for a solid 5 minutes. When my order was FINALLY ready, she called my number, which I held out in plain view, and was Ignored again. The person went on to serve another group before acknowledge me, when I asked her why it took more than 20 minutes to get me my order, the response was, "well you see it's just me!". I work in king city and wont be going back to this establishment any time soon, likely wont ever...

Second visit on 6-3.25 had a wonderful experience thanks to Ariana and the entire team. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile—something that always stands out to me and makes a big difference. Ariana was friendly, professional, and truly made me feel welcome.

The food was fresh and delicious, and the restaurant was spotless. Tables were clean, the dining area was well-maintained, and everything felt organized and inviting. It’s clear that the store manager is doing an excellent job leading the team—you can see it in the attention to detail and positive attitude of the staff.

This visit was a great reflection of what customer service should be. Great job, Ariana! Keep up the fantastic work! The management team strives to teach the importance of good customer service to new hires. The majority of the workers there respond with such courtesy and respect to it customers. Excellent job...
