King City Pizza — Restaurant in King City

Stopped by here to rest up after a long drive back to Los Angeles. Upon entering the restaurant the place had the old style theme from Round Table from back in the day. They even had those pizza trays with the sizes on the wall behind the counter like Round Table does. So I guess it's safe to assume this place used to be a Round Table Pizza Joint. I ordered a small combination and a soda. The pizza is the same style as Round Tables just minus the fancy name. The pizza was okay not bad nor was it great. I think they were lacking on all of the vegetables except for the olives, which I think was a bit much. The flavor is not quite close to Round Table's but when you look at the pizza you would think it would. Overall this place is a decent place to stop on by for pizza during a long trip. The customer service was decent, the cleanliness around the restaurant was okay. They just need some more cleaning in the men's restroom and I think they'll be okay. Had a food experience at King City Pizza. The staff are helpful and friendly, Ambience is homely.

There is plenty of seating available and they have separate game zone areas with air hockey and other console games.

The extra large vegetarian pizzas we ordered were really well done, relatively thin crust and juicy vegetables like tomatoes, mushrooms and artichoke, they did a good job of it. The veggies available for Ceaser's salad very fresh too.

Great service in an always clean and presentable venue. Admittedly I have had better pizza elsewhere (hence 4 stars instead of five) but the pricing is fair and I love the variety of pizzas they offer. I would most heartily recommend the lunch buffet - they keep the counter well stocked with at least 4 styles of pizza available at a time and the price is a great value.
