Gorilla Donuts – King City, OR Gorilla Donuts is one of those places that proves small shops can still deliver big quality. The donuts here are consistently fresh — you can really taste that they’re made with care, not sitting around for hours. Every visit, the display case looks inviting, and the shop itself is always spotless. I really appreciate how clean and organized everything feels; it’s a great start to any morning. The service is excellent, too. The staff is friendly, quick, and always happy to help you decide if you can’t pick between your favorites. You can tell they take pride in what they do, and that makes a difference. The Bear Claws are absolutely fabulous — big, flaky, and perfectly sweet without being heavy. The chocolate bars are delicious and well balanced, and the Old Fashions are fresh, crisp on the outside, and soft inside. You can tell they pay attention to texture and freshness. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that I wish there were just a bit more variety. A few extra creative options or seasonal specials would make it perfect. But overall, Gorilla Donuts is a clean, friendly, dependable stop for truly fresh and tasty...

Gorilla’s Donuts has been closed since some time in July or August. It turns out they have “sold” the business to the family/business who runs “Good Cake Bakery” on Hall Bvld. Not a donut in sight. Instead, an extensive collection of Mexican pastries, cookies, cake and bread. I bought a crème horn and it was delicious- but I will miss the awesome collection of fresh donuts. (The woman serving me said to check back in two weeks. She hopes to add a donut to their selection. That would be at the end of October.)

Donuts have always been my favorite treat, so am pretty particular. I’ve been back to Gorilla Donuts too many times since they opened - which says it all. I have to talk myself out of visiting because I cannot buy just one or two. I love that their cake donuts are as good as their filled, raised and buttermilk. They make them all, and they are all very well done! Even in the late afternoons I’ve found a reasonable variety of donut choices - all delicious and fresh. Some people have commented on the pricing, but here, you are getting very good quality, fresh donuts. Well...

I recently went to Gorilla Donuts in Beaverton. Their food was good the donuts were good the twists were huge and the apple fritter was massive (compared to other donut places) but the twists glaze had a bit of tang to it which I dislike. Also, the apple fritter had a hard outside but still a dense center making it a bit intense. The service was decent I wish the worker was a bit more excited even if it was fake excitement. The atmosphere was nice with jazz playing in the background but the inside was still a bit bland. But surprisingly the prices were quite low! So overall I do recommend you going...
