Mazatlán Mexican Restaurant – King City, OR

Mazatlán is one of those small, local Mexican restaurants that really captures the warmth of a neighborhood spot. The service here is consistently excellent — friendly, fast, and genuine. Every time I’ve visited, the staff has gone out of their way to make sure I felt welcome and well taken care of, which really makes a difference these days. The food itself is very good, with generous portions that make it easy to share or take home leftovers. Everything tastes fresh and flavorful, and the menu offers all the classics — tacos, enchiladas, burritos, fajitas — with dependable quality and good presentation. It’s not fancy dining, but it’s solid, satisfying comfort food that hits the spot. The atmosphere is cozy and casual, more on the small side, which adds to its charm but can make it feel a little tight when it’s busy. My only real complaint — and the reason for four stars instead of five — is the margaritas. They look impressive, especially the big ones, but they’re far too watered down for the price. A little more flavor and kick would really elevate the experience. Still, overall Mazatlán is a great local gem for a friendly meal, excellent service, and dependable Mexican food...

Best Mexican restaurant I have found south of Portland. This place doesn't get enough credit! It's obvious that the owner(s) put a lot of time, effort, money, and soul into creating a true authentic and comfortable experience for their customers. The music is great, not too loud, the interior design is interesting and pleasant to look at, and they have a lot of really nice artwork everywhere. Clean bathrooms. Everything is nice and clean. Even the dinnerware (plates, etc.) is of higher quality than one might expect. Bonus, they decorate for the holidays. As for food, I suggest the burrito fajitas or the flautas... Anything on the menu really. The chips arrive to the table warm and fresh, the salsa tastes great but is a little watery. The food is always nice and fresh, though. The cooks are skilled and consistent. Great seasonings and never had better guacamole/rice/beans from a Mexican restaurant. They have a semi-private bar and great drinks, too. Also, their fried ice cream postre is absolutely delicious. :9 Relatively convenient location in a little outlet center, just off 99W (on the right hand side heading South). Give it a shot! You will not be...

Absolutely horrible experience. They messed to my food order twice with 0 apology. I ordered over the phone 2 enchiladas with RED sauce and one other meals both no sour cream. The phone call was terrible being cut off repeatedly in itself so when I showed up in person I wanted to confirm the order was right. They got it wrong over the phone so I repeated twice to make sure they had it correct and had it read back to me. When I got my food both orders were wrong. Both had sour cream and it was green sauce on my meal. When I came back inside to tell them. The man in the white shirt grabbed my bag rolled his eyes and walked away... when i commented my boyfriends food was also wrong they literally just stared at me. I said “hey I hate to waste food as much as you guys” what can I do to make sure this doesn’t happen again they just stared at me no comment or word. We paid over $50 including tip this was a horrible experience I will never return and will make sure to tell my friends in the area. When you F a food order that was 3x clarified you at minimum apologies but I got nothing but rude...

It's ok. However i recommend you do not do Uber eats with Mazatlan just might as well go to the restaurant. The food does not travel well. And i am 5 min away from the location and it still did not travel well. But i bet it tastes better in person! I have tried other Mazatlans locations each on is different so don't other locations reviews fool you! Also if you do Uber eats you cannot modify your order. You might have to call in to make modifications say you have an allergy you will have to call.

A fine experience. Staff were all friendly and masked. I had the carnitas Plat either corn tortillas and whole beans. All very good! Maybe my only "gripe" is the price. Maybe I'm spoiled back in Houston, but as great as the food was, it could definitely stand to be a couple dollars cheaper. Just my opinion! Still worth a shot!
