Humberto’s Mexican Food — Restaurant in Kingman

I ORDERED DINNER LASTNIGHT, ORDER WAS WRONG AND THE MEAT HAD A FUNNY SMELL TO IT. I CALLED THIS MORNING TO ADDRESS AND LET THE OWNER KNOW THE FOOD QUALITY WAS QUESTIONABLE AND THE ORDER WAS ALSO WRONG. I CALLLED AND SAVANNAH HUNG UP ON ME 4 TIMES WHEN I ASKED FOR AN OWNER. SHE THEN LIED AND SAID THE OWNER (SHE) WAS IN THE BATHROOM. THEN SAID THE OWNER ( HE) WASNT THERE AND WILL BE BACK AT 7PM. I THEN ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER ON DUTY AND SHE SAID SHE WILL BE BACK AT 4PM. I ASKED FOR THE MANAGERS NAME AND SHE TOOK A LONG PAUSE AND SAID " WE CALL HER MARIA". IHAVE NEVER HAD SUCH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE VIA THE TELEPHONE. TOOK EVERYTHING IN ME NOT TO DRIVE UP THERE TO RECTIFY THE SITUATION BCUS THE MATURITY LEVEL WAS THAT OF A 12 YEAR OLD. I WILL NEVER BE EATING HERE AGAIN, IF THEY WILL ACT THAT WAS OVER THE PHONE, NO TELLING WHAT THEY WILL DO WITH FOOD BEHIND CLOSED DOORS. THE OWNER SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF HOW THE EMPLOYEES ARE CONDUCTING THEIR BUSINESS. SAVANNAH NEEDS TO GRGOW UP AND UNDERSTAND SHE IS AT WORK...

I personally do not understand all the negative reviews for this place. I come here all the time when I am in Kingman. My favorite things on the menu are the burritos and the carne asada fries!!!! The portions are incredibly generous for the price you pay. The food is always fresh and the tortillas absolutely delicious. This business is family owned, the same 2 guys work there every single day, very dedicated. People are complaining about the place not being very clean at their table but they don't notice how busy the very few employees they do have are. Also if more people cleaned up after themselves before they left, it wouldn't be that big of a deal. Their food is always amazing, the people who work there are super friendly and the prices are fair.

The worst beef tacos I ever had and the meat lacked flavor and the chicken tacos were awful. The taco shell was too hard and crispy. It was as if they used a small size tortilla and fried it in grease. The tacos were too large and very sloppily put together. All they had in a taco was the meat and cheese and lettuce. No tomato or salsa or anything. The tacos were very dry. I wasted my 35 dollars there. My two companions also hated the food and had nothing good to say about it. One said it was gross. It was at that. I ordered 2 chicken and 6 beef and 3 of the beef went to the dog so at least he ate well. I just hope we did not poison ourselves. If you value food do not eat here. It is the first time I ate there and the last time. I always try a place to eat...
