I'm a regular but ever since Stacy left the place has gone downhill. The food is good but the service is lacking big time with the exception of Nina. Unfortunately I ordered dinner for 2 for takeout on a night that Nina was off. First of all the young lady that took my order was not familiar with menu & kept interrupting me. When I went to pick up order I waited about 10 minutes longer then usual, OK they had a half full restaurant. I get home and notice that I didn't get artichoke spinach dip that comes with the artichoke & spinach dip and baked bread, important item also ordered a house salad and a Cesar salad got 2 house salads so when I returned I inform the young lady of her mistakes she said she would get me my items and now I had to wait 15 minutes while my dinner at home was getting cold. She gives me a back with a cup of artichoke and spinach dip and a salad so I go out to my truck and I check and it's another house salad so I go back inside and ask her if she new the difference between a house salad and a Cesar salad. She insisted that that was a Cesar when it looks just like the 2 house salads I already had. To the management teach your employees your menu and the difference in salads. On another note what happened to the warm bread, the last few times we have been in or ordered take out we get cold rolls that came from Safeway or smith's. Your proud of your restaurant as evident in your pricing. I tip really well and am a very regular customer that your about to loose. You need...
Read moreI have read the other reviews, but this is an honest Review. First, I had heard this was "THE" Best restaurant in Kingman for dining. They have concrete floors, uncomfortable wood log seat backs, formica covered tables, paper napkins, plastic water glasses, no table cloths, and prices double to triple what it's worth. I had the French Dip for $15.00 and Crabcakes (2) for $12.00. Other places in Kingman serve a better French Dip for $6.99. My wife had the Salmon and Steak for $32.99 and while the Salmon was good, she spent the early morning hours (3:00 am to 4:00 am) retching in the bathroom over the throne from a bad piece of steak which was only a Grade above Ground. It also took 17 minutes after we were finished eating to get the check. I understand there are unfortunate experiences from time to time at any place of dining, but without considering the bad piece of steak, the overall experience left me with the opinion that this is a place that caters to people who do not understand what "Fine Dining" is and are pretentious enough to be seduced into believing that because they pay an exhorbitant price for their dinner, they have dined at a "Fancy" place. Dinner for two was $75.00 (including Tip) for what would have cost $27.00 at Chili's, and which is far nicer and much more comfortable, although Chili's is not considered a "Fine Dining" establishment it would have been a much better choice. I guess the paper napkins and plastic cups says it all. We will not return to...
Read moreBeen in Kingman a while now and decided to try the Chophouse...Not impressed. Ordered the crabcakes as an appetizer as they were promoted on the menu as a popular item. Presentation was juvenile.. two overcooked cakes (looks like they were out of a frozen food bag from Walmart) no toppings on the, thrown on a small bed of lettuce with sauce on the side! Fine dining...i don't think so...but their price would lead you to believe its going to be. I ordered the Mohave ribeye....never had to add butter, salt and pepper to a ribeye to get flavor before! Disappointed for sure. My wife ordered the filet mignon, not sure how they did it but for a medium rare filet, it was a dry piece of meat. She also ordered a market price lobster tail. Middle was raw and inedibly mushy. As for the drinks they were the best part of the meal, bartender Devin, knows what he is doing! Related to the service, deplorable! Watched the bartender tend tona few tables, he went to three tables multiple times and we didnt even get checked on by our server. She didn't even come by to ask about drink refills, as they were cocktails...huge loss of profit for...
