Well not only did I visit this cookout 8/12/25 and got 2 trays and the grilled chicken I got was black and burnt and extremely bitter to taste but my daughter had a SCHEDULED interview at this location on Saturday 8/9/2025 at 3pm. She goes to the window to let them know she is there for the 3pm interview and she’s told that the hiring manager isn’t in and she will have to come back Tuesday 8/12/25. No one tells her a time so she messages the number that messaged her when to be there for the initial interview no one ever responded so she asked at our visit to the store on 8/12/25 and was told to come today 8/13/25 anytime after school and meet with Ms Z. She gets home from school and goes back to the restaurant for the interview presents at the window to let them know she is there and was told to hang out until 6p due to a meeting going on, perfectly fine. Goes back at to the window at 6p waits about 10 minutes finally speaks to who she was waiting on and was asked if she was still in school and of course she told them yes, although it was in her application when the first interview was scheduled on 8/9, and was told they have way too many employees with school schedules and they have her information and will contact her if there are any changes.
I’m just confused on why the initial interview was even scheduled if it’s not what the location was needed in the first place since her application has her listed as a student.
I can only imagine how the service will be at this brand new location if this is how hiring is going to be done. Yes it’s fast food and you will face the challenges with scheduling students and can be overwhelming but to keep having folks come back and forth and sit and wait just to be told within 2 minutes they aren’t hiring is very unprofessional to say the least! I’ve been a general manager at 4 restaurants and would never conduct business like this whether it be students or adult with scheduling restraints.

Read moreWent @ 6pm today and when we got back to the house and my 5 year old went to eat her hotdog, she looked at me and said "mom I'm not eating this"! What in the world was you all thinking when you decided to put that burnt up,dried up,should not be sold to anyone not even a dog - hotdog in my bag to take home to my kid? You wasn't thinking obviously! I work at Subway on Shelby Rd in K.M. and I look at it like this,if I wouldn't eat it I don't sale it to my customers. As much as I love the cookouts milk shakes I will not be returning to eat anything else from there ever again. Take out is a convenience we all use. Not today,it's been an inconvenience because time wasted to go get it,gas used, now I have to cook and she has to wait that much longer to eat...
Read moreWe picked the unlucky line of the 2 drive-thrus 🥲 idk what happened, but our line was ignored for several turns, and we eventually gave up and went to the other line.
Someone yelled at them from the second box as we were coming back around, and then that line started moving. That said, the speed was pretty good, other than all the extra waiting that we had to do.
Otherwise, some of the food was great and some not so great. Chicken quesadillas & fries: great.
Cheerwine float might have been made too fast; there was barely any soda at all.
Chicken nugget side… there were only 3 nuggets? Is that the standard amount?? Guess so 😅 but that doesn’t seem like this location’s fault, more like a...
