Got there about 9:15pm and was pleased the interior was still open (I hate drive-thrus, mainly cause my order is always wrong so I have to go in anyway). Walk in and there's a softball team celebrating their win tonight. Cool. I order, think it's gonna be a hot minute but okay, whatever. Stood there for 10 minutes, drive-thru's working its magic. Cars are moving at a good pace, the team's orders' just finished up, all looks good.
Take a seat and sit there for another 10 minutes (20 mins total now). Now I get suspicious my order dropped out of the system as no orders are on the screen (which I end up figuring out is the drive-thru screen after a few moments). Get up to ask if my order's coming up. Gal says it'll be out in a sec, another fella was waiting for his order too, both of us are a little glum at this point.
Another 5 minutes go by with maybe one car for drive-thru traffic. Finally, other fella gets his order. Tiny bag, poor guy had to wait this long. Got mine after 30 minutes of placing the order, walk out, and realize they shorted me 2 tacos aka 25% of my order. Cool, walk back in. "Oh, new guy didn't realize it." Oh, yup. Been there done that myself, understandable. Get squared away quickly enough. Get home and realize my 5-layer burritos are actually 3-layer: new guy forgot the nacho cheese and sour cream. facepalm Aren't the recipes in front of you on pictorial diagrams? Guess I gotta break out my own sour cream.
What got me was that the manager (I believe she was manager) said to stay calm when I told her about the short. I was calm before you said that, just annoyed. Now I'm becoming more annoyed. To make a person wait 30 minutes for an order (again, I understand for the most part about the large group before me), but THEN screw up my order! Ouch!
Also, a suggestion from manager to manager (and I know corporate thinks they are small deities): go the extra mile if you realize that the wait may be out of your control. "Hey, I'm sorry the wait is very long, and I thank you for your patience. Here's a cup for a soda for your continued patience." For example: If the wait is gonna be long for folks waiting for a wheelchair on my airplane, I usually give folks bottles of water to try and diffuse the situation (before there is one) cause they're usually worried about missing their connections. It also usually puts to rest any possiblity of complaints lobbed at my flight attendants. Bottles of water don't really cost the company money, and giving them a small but meaningful reward for their time helps maintain the brand image. 2...
Read moreI come here frequently for the simple fact it’s close. Every time I visit it’s always an issue ESPECIALLY if I come inside! When you get to the counter no one is ever there. Most of the employees are in the kitchen area or working drive thru and takes them forever to acknowledge you! I’m not sure why no one is ever assigned to the front counter, it always seems like the same person taking order in drive thru does not only take orders for drive thru and pass the food out the window, they also have the responsibility to take orders on the front counter when people arrive as well! Please make that make sense cause the math just ain’t mathing at all!!! Meanwhile the employees in the grill line areas are just jabbering away about personal stuff and when they realize you are there they just stand there looking like what am I supposed to do….oh yea let me tell the person at the drive thru there’s an order to take in the front counter……such a disgrace! THE ONLY TWO people that were helpful is the black guy with the super long dreads and the tall young girl working the window trying to do everything!! Also I’m not sure how this store has a 99.5 score when looking at this restaurant on the Inside it’s disgusting. Shelves falling apart, clutter under everything and crap all piled up on the little cubby cabinet by the front register counter just...
Read moreProbably the worst Taco Bell experience I've ever had. Surprised they're still even in business and the franchise hasn't been revoked.
Diara took my order and overcharged the hell out of my order. Subbing beans for beef is so common that they even have a button for it. She charged me $.50 for each item she SUBBED beans on, key word sub, not add. Also added a nacho cheese charge for the Doritos locos gordita crunch.
The manager Tiffany comes out after Diara makes disgruntled annoyed sounds. She gives me $1.62 instead of $2.50 +tax for the over charges.
When I got my food I didn't even get my main item: the cheesy gordita crunch. My brothers gordita crunch had beef so we told Jada (the only person interested in helped me at all). She gets me a new one. So we ask for my brothers too since the never gave me mine and messed up my brothers.
Finally we get our main items: they are so uncooked my stomach is going to pay in a few hours. We were on a road trip and already an hour late. It took 45 min to get our food, partially eat it and fight for our partial money back just for the undercooked crap.
Got a refill for the road and half the things were bleh and even out. I think they need a whole new staff or go out...
