So I've never been a fan of Me-N-Ed's Pizza at any location to begin with. Ever since I moved out into this area back in 2011 I never understood the appeal of this place to everyone. I think the pizza is actually pretty gross and I try to avoid it at all costs. The sauce tastes like they just take straight up tomato sauce from a can and throw it on the dough is probably the biggest beef I have with their pizza, but there's more to it than just that. The wings are terrible too. But for whatever reason since my wife and her family grew up out here they like it so I have to suffer through it every once in a while. But since that is common across all restaurants I won't hold that against this particular establishment. What I will hold against them is their terrible service, especially when it comes to delivery. Kingsburg is a TINY town. I grew up in a town even smaller than Kingsburg and my first job was as a pizza delivery driver and cook. So I know how long roughly it takes to prepare a pizza, cook it, and deliver it. Now in my home town there were two places to choose from, our restaurant and a Pizza Hut. We typically got most of the delivery business because we had more specials than they did. But the point of the story was that a typical delivery from order to doorstep on an average day would take around 30 to 35 minutes. A busy day maybe 40 to 45. Even with multiple orders coming in at the same time a smart driver can plan out his route so that he gets the orders to the doors all within 5 minutes of one another based off of the time they came in tops because the city is so small. But EVERY SINGLE TIME I have called in to order a pizza at the Kingsburg Me-N-Eds the wait time they give me is an hour at a minimum. It could be a random Wednesday between paydays with nothing special happening and it's never sooner than an hour, and the driver always takes longer than an hour as well. There is absolutely no reason for this in a...

Long post alert Worst experience I have ever had at any Me n Eds in the 40+ yrs and multiple locations from Clovis to Bakersfield. Not one bad experience whatsoever in all that time, until a week ago at this location I won't ever order from their again. Sad because I just moved into the area, I'd rather travel. It takes a lot for me to give a negative review for any place of business, especially one locally owned. I am never in a hurry, as good pizza is well worth the wait, including and up to being placed on hold for several minutes to even order. No problem if it will be 40 mins for pick up, fine, I am totally OK with waiting in line to pick it up after 40 mins. However, when I go to find this location and due to their sign out front on the building not being lit up, tree branches blocking the sign thats burnt out, in between 2 businesses whose signs are very well lit, one being another restaurant right next door, with no obvious structure difference, drove by it twice, to then call for a.little help to guide me in, to ask if I could please hold, to that I politely decline, the employee explains as if I am a blind idiot I then say oohhh your signs isn't lit up, she responds with attitude it hasn't been lit up for quite some time, as dah everyone knows that. 1 min later, I am at the counter in front of 2 women, that's it just that. My order was for a pizza and garlic cheese bread both cooked well done, it was 100% the exact opposite and was the worst tasting order I have ever gotten. The cheese looked as if it only seen heat for seconds raw garlic cheese bread yummy.. I understand things happen this was just too many in 1 visit to over look. Best of...
Read moreHorrible. Myself my friends and my family have tried to give Kingsburg Me N Ed's multiple chances, as well as the benefit of the doubt in their product and service. Tonight was the last straw in a string of bad experiences. A condescending "person in charge" (not manager because they're on vacation for a week) is the face of your business, and places would do well to realize this when selecting whom to leave in charge for any duration of time. It's amazing to me that you can repeatedly send people home with an unsatisfactory product, and do NOTHING to change the outcome. We have been sent home with burnt pizzas, pizzas folded in half which were then unfolded and had toppings added on and subsequently overbaked, vegetarian pizzas with meat on them, being told an order would be ready in 30 minutes only if it to take over an hour and STILL be incorrect etc. Not to mention the complete lack of food handlers safety practiced here. Handling food without gloves on at all, or handling the cash register with gloves on and then handling food products with the SAME gloves on. Disgusting. The list goes on. When there are multiple other options in town, I don't understand why/how you could care so little about your product and service. We have greatly enjoyed Me and Ed's pizza in years past, and have tried to continue giving this establishment our business. However we have not had a good or even decent experience with Kingsburg Me n Ed's in quite a while. Do as you may, but I believe there are other businesses in town that work for and deserve patronage much more than this establishment does. Don't be surprised if you have a similarly...
