The LampLight Theatre — Attraction in Kingsport

This place IS WONDERFUL!! Billy Wayne runs it and he is a incredible PERSON/PASTOR/PERFORMER. This is TRULY a man of God and NOT ashamed to CLAIM IT! I love all the performances they have, it's only $10, but get this if you don't have $10 Billy Wayne will let you go free. Of course, if you can afford it, pay the $10. The money helps the ministry. I can't say enough about the performances, Billy Wayne could have been on Broadway or maybe the movies, he is that good. All of his performers are wonderful, they are first class all the way. What I LOVE most, is Billy Wayne does not sugar coat ANYTHING, he tells you JUST how it is. So, no sugar coating and NO watering down the gospel. If anyone, would ever want to help a godly man in a godly place, Billy Wayne and Lamp Light Theatre IS YOUR PLACE. We've been to a few shows at the lamplight. Loved every one of them!! The Easter show was top notch! The actors were put standing!! Jesus especially! How awesome was he!?!! And Billie..the one who did the speech at the end is a great speaker! I could listen to him all day long. When he was speaking about his life it was as tho he was speaking about mine. Look forward to hearing him again soon. Robin hood is next! The ushers were sweet as can be and there's plenty of yummy snacks to be had. The seats are comfy and the theater is beautiful. And don't forget to visit the well stocked,fair priced gift shop. My only complaint would have to be the child who was sitting right next to us..about a year and a half years old. Wonderful Place! Family friendly environment. Great place for all ages, young and old. You can be apart of the cast or volunteer and become really involved with a great ministry. Or you can be a great supporter by enjoying all the entertainment they offer. They do so much more than just put on performances. They are the body of Christ working together spreading the good news about Jesus Christ. They also offer I.A. camps during the summer for under-privileged and high risk kids and teens. This camp doesn't necessarily mean low income families, they reach out to the students who are in trouble a lot with their families or school, blended families, single parent home families. They take the kids for a week and love on them and show them the love of Jesus and help build a solid foundation for them to stand on in Jesus. I can't say enough how great this...
