George Creamery — Restaurant in Kingsport

We are on vacation traveling through and made a stop here. Well worth it. We love our ice cream and this ice cream in our opinions including children is the BEST! Not saying anything bad towards other ice cream shops at all.

At this ice cream shop the ice cream is high quality. You can taste a true difference. They allowed samples because I didn’t know what to get. I loved their Mocha Almond Fudge and the waffle cone. One of the kids loved their strawberry, another loved the Dutch chocolate and my mom loved the banana split.

Friendly staff, very kind and we loved how the place is decorated with seating areas. My son kept bragging about his ice cream and the employee never got upset by that.

This is our must stop when we travel through Tennessee again.

This is THE best ice cream and milkshake place to go in the tri-cities! George and his wife are always incredibly down to earth and really put their love and soul into their work. I got the chocolate peanut butter overload and banana milkshake and I can’t get enough of it. If you’ve never been here then you definitely need to go. Great family run shop. Mr George was there and was very .welcoming. He gave us samples all were very good. He told us about the flavor experimenting they do to create well-known treats like Mounds bars. He also told us the flavors change. My son got a milkshake and added cinnamon toast crunch cereal.
