Seaver's Doughnuts — Restaurant in Kingsport

If I could put minus 5 stars I would but not because the donuts are dry and looked like they had been sitting in the case for a few days but because of the way I was treated when I went there by the owner... I knew before I decided to patronige this place that it's donuts hadn't given me a good taste in the past but that being said I decided to bring them my business just the same to support local business instead of going to other places that I knew were much better, again I gave them a try and was not surprised that they were still of a lesser quality but to add to the nasty taste that was left in my mouth by the donuts I went outside and yes I said outside and didn't want to smoke in my car so I stood under the shelter of the building heaven forbid, and the owner proceeded to step outside and tell me that it was a state law that there was no smoking on the property and I would have to leave however there are no signs stating that anywhere in the front of the building, needless to say I will not be spending any more money or time at this place and I would highly advise Noone else to either, I could understand her point if I were standing in the way of other customers but I was not even close to the front door and I was kind enough to give...

In my opinion, BEST DONUTS EVER! We always look forward to stopping at Seavers to get donuts when we come to visit some of our family who lives in the area. The donuts are similar to Krispy Kreme (the shop used to be a Krispy Kreme), but fresher and we think they taste better.

Right now only the drive-through is available, and like at least one other reviewer I noticed had commented, it is not easy to understand the voice coming through the speaker.

Why only 4 stars? The attendent got a little testy when I said I couldn't understand what she was saying, so she slowed way down and almost condescendingly tried it again, but it was the way she did it and her tone that grated me wrong.

It all worked out, and I understood on the second try, but they might want to look into remedying that hardware problem and check themselves over the voice quality issue before responding to someone who is not trying to be a problem, but legitimately has one when they can't understand what...

These are by far the best donuts around. However, today I purchased donuts for a special needs classroom. The server did not offer napkins. When I requested them, she said she'd have to go to the back and get them. When she returned she counted out a few napkins and handed them to me. I asked her if I could have more, because the donuts were for a group of special needs kids. She then lectured me on their policy not to give out extra napkins, and then handed me a few more. Then she proceeded to tell me that she only gave me the " extra" napkins because she was the one working, but to remember the policy for the next time. I spent $36 on two dozen donuts and, granted, they are always good donuts. However, I seriously doubt that for the $18 they charge per dozen, they can't let customers have a few extra napkins upon request, particularly in cases where the request is for people with special needs.
