Wendy's — Restaurant in Kingsport

Take a hint with the one star ratings. Your crew on certain nights and days are ruining your location. Time to clean house. Woman at drive through who needs personal hygiene lessons hands my food to the wrong car, and thus I get the other cars order. I waited way too long in line to be given the wrong order. I go inside asking for my food and get told I am a liar and where is my receipt. Well, honey you didn't give me one. If it wasn't for the woman who had MY food coming in right behind me, I would have lost on $40 of food for the family. Cashier says good we can switch bags ... No. Me and that woman want our food REMADE AND CORRECTED AND FRESH. I don't want food someone else had, and the ordeal was over 35 minutes from the start of my order, to waiting and getting the wrong damn bag, and dealing with such rudeness. I live right up the road and I have been coming here for a while, and I won't be back. It gets worse and worse every time. If I'm near Stone Drive or towards Hamricks I might stop one day, but if not oh well, Wendys is off the menu. Absolutely horrible staff... Whole area down here has gotten so bad. If you hate your job find another. I say it over and over again. Some don't need to be in customer service dealing with the...

In my opinion this restaurant does not even deserve one star in any area! I went to restaurant last night and quickly remembered why I do not use this location. Long story short we went through drive thru where the man speaking over the intercom could not hear me at all. Asked for my order then when I was done ordering again says his original greeting. I kindly asked him if he had heard me and if I needed to repeat my order. He AGAIN, says his greeting. So I pull forward (he looks right at me as I did) and says well if we didn’t hear you, nothing was ordered. Doesn’t care to take my order at the window, apologize or anything. I work in customer service and have for many years. I treated one of my patients like this at work and you better believe I’d be written up.

Not to mention as we sat at the window for a good 3-5 minutes without being helped, all we could see was 2 woman dressed in their pajamas walking in and out of the kitchen area and 2 other workers not helping at all. I have lived here only 3 years and sadly can say that good customer service in this area is very few and far between. Train your staff better so they can grow up and be good humans in...

Last two times I have been to Wendy's...and mind you I went to 2 separate locations. I ordered a Baked potato both times with butter and sour cream for my little grandson..he's just starting on soft foods. I got it home and went immediately to fix it. The potatoes were... nasty.... for lack of a better word and not fit for a human to eat! They were very old and WAY over done. Like they had sat since morning in a warmer. The potatoes had turned a murky brown they were so old. Now mind you this is 2 separate Wendy's. One in Blountville, TN and one in Kingsport, TN on John B Dennis. I thought surely the second try at a second locale would yield a better baked potato. Not only was it as bad, the first potato they gave me, the entiee middle was rotten! So I went back through drive-thru and showed it to the girl. She apologized and got me another...another unfit potato. The exact same old, over-done potato. Pitiful. I suggest to not order them unless it's early in the day. Because after 2-3:00 O' clock, they're disgusting. I did write corporate about this. I do not like to complain, but that is poor business to serve...
