What's Shaken — Restaurant in Kingston

The shakes look awesome. They're fun. Super sweet.

Unfortunately I was super disappointed- didn't get what I thought we ordered.

My husband and I shared a shake because we knew it would be very sweet. He likes shakes and I like cake. Perfect combo, at least it would of been.

We asked for a strawberry cheesecake. They were out of cheesecake so we were going to switch to the Vanilla Ice Ice Baby. The lady taking our order said they could do the strawberry cheesecake ice cream and put vanilla cake on it in place of the cheesecake. Ok, great.

We received our order... it had a cupcake, not cake and it wasn't even the type of vanilla cake pictured on their site. It was yellow cake. Yellow cake and white/vanilla cakes do actually taste different. Very different. I would of asked for something different had I known this. It was a dense yellow cupcake with overly sweet frosting and Whipped cream topping. It was just a disappointment compared to other reviewers pictures of this delicious looking white vanilla cake.

The shake was a very strong fake strawberry flavor but not strawberry cheesecake. My husband liked it ok.

Overall, I'd likely try them again but ask more questions about...

The milkshakes are really amazing!! They're yummy, worth the price, and beautiful. However, it made a bit of a mess! We asked for our shakes to go and the man working the register asked if we wanted the stuff that goes inside the shakes, in a box on the side (since they're messy). We agreed but when my boyfriend received the shakes, they were all made up in these little cups with sprinkles on the rim but I was under the impression that they had regular to-go cups. Also, the candy and goodies were all stuck inside the shake, even though they were supposed to be to the side, in a box. So, when my boyfriend said they were to-go, they just gave us a carrier. Unfortunately, everything was too big and messy so we were pretty frustrated trying to not spill anything in our car. Hello everyone, So my family and I wanted some ice cream and our usual go to place is still closed. So we decided to give What's Shaken a try.

WOW !! Their selection may not be as many as other places, and that's fine. But what they do have, is as visually impressive as it is tasty !!

Look at their menu to see what I'm talking about. Absolutely insane.

Prices are......4 out of 5. 5 being the highest range. So, if it's a once while visit, you'll be fine. However, it can become addicting....that will add up quickly. LOL.

The staff is veryfriendly and busy but very attentive to what you may need.

But overall, You will not be disappointed choosing What's Shaken for your next ice cream treat(s).
