We love the all you can eat soup and salad even though we can't eat a lot. We love the Tuscan Toscana soup and the chicken and dumpling (can't remember the actual name) soup. This time we received each a bowl of the chicken and Gnocchi soup and there was no chicken in it but we went ahead and ate it because the sauce is really good. So we let someone know that we were disappointed with the fact that there was no chicken in the soup. We ordered our last bowl of Zuppa Toscana soup and we were going to be finished eating. The manager of the kitchen came to our table to find out what the problem was. We told him that there was no chicken in the soup. He apologized for that and he left. Well several minutes after we ordered our last bowl, we received 2 bowls of the Chicken and Gnocchi soup which we were not expecting to get, we just wanted to let the kitchen know that there was no chicken in the soup.
Shortly after we received our soup the manager returned to our table asking us what did we need now. We explained that we did not request to see the manager and so he left. When the lady who brought the soup that we were not expecting she kept apologizing and then asked us if we would like a couple of bowls of soup and some bread sticks to bring home. We were very surprised and just wanted to let the kitchen manager know that there was no chicken in the chicken soup. We did not ask for anything for free!
We finished eating and paid our bill including a tip for 2 different people. We continued to wait for the soups that the girl offered us and after 10 minutes we found her and asked her where were the soups that you offered us, we didn't want to leave and not get the soups and they would wonder why we left without getting the gift that she offered us. She said that it was in the kitchen. Then the kitchen manager came back to our table and asked us what was going on and he seemed very frustrated at this point and so I explained everything to him and told him that we didn't ask for anything, she offered that to us. He left. We waited about 5 minutes and finally I got frustrated and went to the kitchen and asked for the kitchen manager and when he came out I explained to him that we never asked for anything for free, I told him that this has gotten out of hand and now several people are frustrated including my wife and I. We are leaving now and we don't want anything from yall. I told him that this is not how we do things, we don't treat a business like this. And so we left. This was a very uncomfortable experience at Olive Garden. We gave a $10.00 tip on a $20.00 bill and in the end we were treated like trouble makers and people who take advantage of restaurants and we are definitely not those kind of people. From now on we'll refuse any offers of...
Read moreNot at all a fan of this location. My boyfriend and I went here for lunch one day and service was horrible. The waitress we had told us that “we can’t make the Mojito flavored” which is funny because under the drink on the menu is a spiked strawberry lemonade with strawberries in it...so it’s very clear that the mojito could be flavored. A few weeks before I ordered a strawberry Mojito from this location. We tried to tell her if the bartender could just put ANY fruit in it that would be great, if not bring us an alternate drink. Then she finally came back with our drinks and the Mojito was unflavored and my flavored tea. After spending five minutes trying to iron out the drink order we thought she understood what we wanted just for her to bring us the exact opposite of what we wanted. Then everything else was an uphill battle. Then we finally made our food order and received our salad that sat on the tray next to us while she took her time with her one other table she was taking care of. When she put our salad on our table, we asked her for some black pepper. Without saying anything she walked away so we assumed that was a yes. It was probably ten minutes before she made her way to our table. In that time frame my boyfriend walked over to the manager to tell him about the flavor Mojito situation, not even to complain about her just to get something to mix in the drink like he wanted and he laughed and said he’ll handle it for us. He immediately walked back to our table with a little bit of raspberry syrup that they used in my tea. It caught her attention that the manager was at our table so she came back to see what was happening. After being soooo adamant on not being able to flavor the drink, she changed her story in front of the manager. He then walked away because we were happy. The waitress stayed and asked us if we needed anything and we asked her again about the black pepper because we LOVE the salad with black pepper. She gave us the biggest attitude and said “well I have to check the sanitize station to see if there are any available” as if it was a huge inconvenience that we asked you about something again from 20 minutes ago. In a way we appreciate the protocol in place with COVID that frequently touched items get sanitized, but you don’t have to be rude to us because we talked to the manager to help us because she clearly didn’t try. After we ate our food she never checked in on us. She checked on the one other table in her section several times. We were so tired of being there, we just asked a different waiter for to go boxes. She avoided our table the rest of the time we were there.
The food was great- Salad and breadsticks awesome as usual and the chicken carbonara was exactly...
Read moreThe food was good, our server was great (Mason I think). We had a large party, 6 adults and 4 small children of various ages. The youngest is still under 1 year old and the oldest turns 4 later this year. They don't have a kids menu so I decided to just order a make your own pasta of spaghetti noodles, grilled chicken and broccoli. When the server asked what the other 2 small children wanted I told him I was just gonna split it out between them and if they were still hungry I would order more. I never actually asked them to split the serving up for me, I didn't want them to, anyone who has kids knows it's a crapshoot if they'll even eat solid food at all. Anyway, before they brought the food out the manager (I'm guessing it was either the manager or a cook) came out to the table and in a tone that sounded annoyed and a little rude informed us that you can't split a dish 3 ways. He said they had "worked it out"(whatever that means) in the kitchen this time but that we should keep it mind for next time that they don't split meals more than twice. I was confused, because again I hadn't asked them to split any of the meals for us. The whole thing just felt kinda rude. Sucks too because I love Italian food and would have liked to go back. To be 100% clear by the way, Mason was great 👍. And to be even clearer, I don't mind that they have a policy against splitting dinners more than once, my issue was only with the managers choice to loudly... almost scold us for ordering the food incorrectly. There were more polite ways to do that. Still recommend this place, just won't be...
