I came to pick up an Uber Eats order and had the most unprofessional and unsanitary experience Iâve ever seen. When I first arrived around 1:10 AM, I waited at the take-out lobby area for several minutes no greeting, no employee in sight. I did the right thing and waited, but no one ever came. After standing there with no help, I finally went to the bar, thinking someone there could assist me.
There were only 4 or 5 people sitting at the bar. It wasnât busy, yet the bartender looked straight at me and acted like she didnât want to be bothered. No âhello,â no âcan I help you.â When I said the customerâs name, she said âWho?â with attitude and kept picking up glasses like she was pretending to stay busy.
The restaurant was filthy sticky floors, trash, dirty tables, and cups everywhere. Other workers were just standing around talking. One bald male employee ignored me completely, and another woman across the room gave me a harsh look that made me feel unwelcome. People at the bar smirked while I was being ignored.
After about 20 minutes, I contacted Uber Eats support at 1:29 AM because no one would help me. The customer also called the restaurant twice the first call wasnât answered, and the second time a man finally picked up and said, âOh, the orderâs been ready.â They knew it was ready and let me stand there all that time. When the customer asked, âIf it was ready, why didnât anyone tell her?â he had no answer. I finally got the order at 1:47 AM. Later, the customer told me the restaurant lied and claimed they âdidnât see anyone at the bar.â That is false â I was standing right there and even spoke to the bartender twice.
Iâm an independent 1099 contractor partnered with Uber Eats. This is my own small side business that I take pride in. Itâs not my only job itâs a little hustle I enjoy doing professionally. Every pickup represents a partnership between the driver, the restaurant, and the customer. I invest in my own supplies to do my job right. All I ask is the same level of professionalism and respect in return.
This location needs serious cleaning, retraining, and management review. I hope corporate checks the cameras from 1:10 AM to 1:47 AM on October 18, 2025 to see what really happened. The way I was ignored and how dirty this restaurant looked was unacceptable.

   Read moreUpdate: I originally did 1 star. I updated to 3 only because the manager made things right and was amazing! However, britt was a total winch and has absolutely no customer service skills. She needs to be fired or retrained. She does not know how to work in a fast-paced environment and showed her aggression with us.
I recently visited this restaurant on Veterans Day, eager to enjoy a nice meal, but sadly left disappointed. Upon arrival, we were seated quickly, which initially set a positive tone for the evening. However, after a long 15 minutes with no drinks in sight, our anticipation began to turn into frustration.
It was at that point that someone walked over to our table. To our surprise, we learned she was not our server and couldnât assist us with anything. Apparently, the restaurant was down to just two waitresses managing the entire floor during dinner time on a national holidayâon Veterans Day, no less. It felt puzzling and, frankly, unbelievable.
One would expect a restaurant to be fully staffed during peak dining hours on such a significant day. Itâs a time for families to gather and appreciate our veterans, yet here we were, waiting aimlessly while the place buzzed with potential and promiseâjust waiting to be served.
While I appreciate that unexpected circumstances can arise, it seems a historical oversight in planning to have so few staff available. My experience tarnished what could have been a lovely night out. Perhaps Iâll consider returning, hopefully on a day when theyâre better prepared to cater to...
