Hubby and I tried out this spot tonight and will never come back. We ordered a couple of tacos and queso. When the tacos were served, the guy said they mixed up the tacos between the two baskets and walked away. So we proceeded to switch tacos between the baskets but realized the whole order wasn't right. The guy must have realized that too because he came over and said the order was mixed up and took both baskets. We sat there looking a little dumbfounded and watched him put the two baskets on the counter top where the cooks put the food out. He goes to the back to explain to the cooks the mix up (we can see all this happening because it's open) and then a girl goes over to the baskets and switches the tacos around between both bask ta and takes it to another family. We were shocked! My husband walked over to the family as she was handing them the taco baskets and told them what happened. Those same baskets had been handed to us, we touched all over them, and then she just switched them around and take it to them. She was angry he told them that and insisted she had thrown them away. Y'all, we watched them the whole time!! When she got back to the front she was chewing out the cook, I asked her for a refund minus the drink and queso. She did so, but her demeanor was so unprofessional and rude. There is no way we will ever go back there. If they are willing to do that when customers can out right see what's happening, there is no telling what the will do on the other side...
Read moreNewer store to Valley Ranch area. Needs a little attention from a contractor to fix a few issues of poor quality materials. As for the food...Maria was very sweet, polite, and knowledgable of the menu. I LOVE TACOS! As for their tacos, I would rather hit the local taco truck. Al Pastor tacos don't have cold pineapple in them. You cook them in with the tacos (white owners). The barbacoa should have been juicy. Mine was pretty dry, making me believe I got meat from the top of the container that sat (give it a stir). You want them moist and juicy but not dripping with juices. Carnitas tasted really weird; I even had the wife try it (she's Mexican). She asked if there was rice in it, not a good sign when there isn't rice in it. She got the birria tacos. Those were, in fact, on point and the sauce was very good. The salsa verde had great flavor, but was not very spicy. The salsa roja had good kick, but not enough to overpower the flavor. The other was maybe habanero and that stuff was epic! I could just...
Read moreFourth and final time they've messed up our to go orders. Now I get to go hungry because I refuse to eat this minced meat looking chicken that is so freaking dried out that I had to spit it out. Didn't even taste like chicken because all I could taste was salt. The beans and rice were decent but full of salt. We have given them everything opportunity to get themselves right as they are a fairly new franchise in our city. We have waited two to three months in-between ordering and there has been nothing improvement to say the least. And what they did to the "chicken Fajitas" should be against the law. And it does no good at all to call and ask for a refund or even to inform them that it was wrong. All they have ever had to say was I'm sorry that happened. No refund heck absolutely nothing in return for the # bad food, #wrong food, #salty food. Good luck...
