Daily Grind Cafe LLC — Restaurant in Kinston

As a Brazilian, I can confidently say I’ve just had the best açaí in the U.S. I’ve tried açaí at other places before, but nothing comes close to how authentic this one tasted. For those who don’t know, açaí is a Brazilian fruit, and this place nailed it!

I was at the DMV, hadn’t eaten breakfast, and had been driving for almost an hour. I decided to stop by and try their açaí, but I couldn’t resist also ordering a biscuit with cheese. Now, I’m not usually a fan of biscuits because they’re not a big part of Brazilian culture, but OH MY GOD, what bread! The texture was so soft, and the melted cheese was incredible.

I wanted to find something different than Starbucks... which I love, don't get me wrong, but I don't love their prices. I did not eat this time. It was a nice atmosphere and you could shop in the different stores attached. They had excellent service and without hesitation, made me a coffee ☕️/chocolate frozen drink w/expresso even though, it was not a drink listed on the menu... If you want great coffee, visit the Daily Grind Cafe! I ordered one of their specialty lattes; it was delicious!! The latte had a great balance of espresso, flavor, and perfect sweetness (not too sweet). I was greeted upon arrival in addition to kind and courteous service. The Daily Grind had alot of items to choose from, from drinks (hot or cold), breakfast items: muffins, bagels, cheese biscuits, etc.... and even different flavors of ice cream.
