STORY HAD TO BE TRIMMED BUT CONTINUES AS OF THE FOLLOWING...
The GENERAL MANAGER walks off as if I'm nothing and the "ASSISTANT MANAGER" goes to grab the pizza and I ask her "not to" and I ask for "someone else I could talk to or the Corporate number". She replies "1-800-Dominoes" and walks off SMIRKING and LAUGHING. Then adds "she tried to help but now she's not going to remake nothing." I attempt to call the number as she STARES AT ME SMILING AND SMIRKING. I couldn't get through so I proceed to call Dominoes of Ayden, N.C. to seek contact information for Cooperate.
As I'm talking to the manager a POLICE OFFICER walks in to the counter. I'm thinking he ordered a pizza or something until the "ASSISTANT MANAGER" points to me and says "that's him." Another officer walks in, I turn around and another is pulling in. The GENERAL MANAGER screams "He's BANNED from here. Claims "she ATTEMPTED to ASSIST ME but I CUSSED HER OUT and the ASSISTANT MANAGER and DISRESPECTED THEM. She said "I told her she didn't know how to do her job" to which I NEVER EVEN SAID.One officer walks to the back to speak to the manager and I bring my conversation with the manager of Ayden to an abrupt end and talk with the officer infront of me. Seeing where this was heading I explain.... #1 The situation at hand. #2 I showed him the napkin below in the picture and reminding him of the conversation I was having with the Manager of Ayden when they entered to which I SCREENSHOT below, I told them to look around and noticed nothing had been tampered with or moved. #3 I told them to playback the PHONE CALL I have pictured below knowing ALL CONVERSATIONS ARE RECORDED PROVING the GENERAL MANAGER was LYING. #4 I told them to playback the CAMERAS and see I NEVER CUSSED THEM OUT, INTIMIDATED THEM, TOUCHED THEM, BOTHERED ANYTHING, OR ANYTHING ELSE.
Truth be told people are not used to a EDUCATED BROTHER WITH A HEAD ON HIS SHOULDER DISPLAYING STRENGTH, INTELLIGENCE, AND REPECT ALL AT THE SAME TIME. In the End the Officer offered up a Solution to bring this to a brief close. I was REFUNDED MY MONEY and I KEPT THE PIZZAS as well. Now I STOOD MY GROUND and I won. But that DOES NOT excuse THE LIES, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM, NOR THE TAINT OF RACISM I went through.
WHY WOULD THE POLICE BE CALLED ON ME?!? BECAUSE I'M BLACK AND THEIR WHITE?!? BECAUSE I DIDN'T TAKE THE BAIT AND LOSE MY COOL AS OTHERS WOULD HAVE?!? BECAUSE I'VE WORKED IN FASTFOOD KNOWING THE PROTOCOL OF HOW THINGS SHOULD BE HANDLED?!? BECAUSE I KNOW TO SPEAK DIRECTLY TO MANAGERS LET ALONE THE MANAGER WHO INITIATED MY CALL AND COMPLAINT?!?
WHY WOULD I SCHEME FREE PIZZAS WHEN I SPEND $20 TO $30 EVERY ORDER. BETTER YET.. WHY WOULD I SCHEME AND I WORK A 9 TO 5 AND HAVE MY OWN BUSINESS!?! I thought that they would of had it together since it's been some years ago when I last ordered from them and that was a horrible experience then. Had to cancel order from 3/14/21 due to them only having 2 delivery drivers. They said it would be an 1 hr. 30 min or more before it can show up. They voided the order and said that a refund will be issued within 3 to 5 days. I called the current general manager there, and she would not allow me to get a word in. She stated they no longer do refunds and they are backed up due to people getting their stimulus which has nothing to do with me. She was rude and somewhat unprofessional. I didn't call up there mad, although I have the right to be. She was acting like it was her money that she didn't get back.They remade my order in replacement of refund, but I still reached out to corporate due to not liking the manner of how I was spoken to. I mentioned last year that they did refunds but she told me it no longer applies. I called my bank and got everything straightened out. And they can issue refunds. If you run into this issue just contact your bank or call corporate. Don't deal with place and the fact they can't keep no workers there and always hiring is a big red flag. Spare yourself your the trouble and not order here. They should of been close this franchise down.
3 years ago: Just had a horrible experience at this dominos. I know recently they need some delivery drivers because they have been short, but this was no excuse for what happened tonight. I am regular loyal customer who never had a problem with dominos. But tonight, I ordered some pizza online around 6:49 pm and before you know it, the time was 8:15 pm. I tried to call them but they had their phones off the hook. I wanted to inform them that I wanted a refund and that they could keep the pizzas, but they had the phones off the hook. So around 9 pm a delivery driver decided showed up and I had him immediately returned the pizza. They wasn't even apologetic or nothing about this bad quality service. How disrespectful to not even pick up the phones. If your delivery service was going to be that slow, cancel it for the time being!!! Or at least give your customer some free items for waiting that long. These Kinston restaurants ain't hitting on nothing and they don't how to treat nobody. This is part of the reason why Kinston will not prosper, grow...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNothing has changed evidently!! Went here last week for a quick meal. Placed order online which estimated time was almost equivalent to how long it would take me to get there. Upon arrival, 3 people were standing there just talking. I told them the name I had placed the order under but they said they had no ticket under that name. The girl that was making the pizzas walked over to another machine, grabbed a ticket and said oh here it is! She went right back to the prep area and started making a pizza, all while wiping her nose with her arm. Both of these actions warranted a hand washing, but never did she was her hands. When she started making the pizza I asked if it was mine and she said yes! I asked how long it would be now and she said about 8 min. Well the board that tells you your estimated time said 1-5 min. I politely asked them to cancel my order bc I was in a hurry and they get mad at me saying they will not fill another order of mine unless I come into the store first! Well here's to that...if you would've made my pizza instead of standing there talking, none of this would have happened! Just know that I can always order under another name bc there is a way around everything BUT I will choose not to mainly bc of your poor customer service and your low A (93.0) grade of which you prob got a B but earned points...
