Listen, we aren’t from North Carolina, or from the south. We are true Minnesotans and we don’t believe in spices, and think ketchup is a ‘little spicy’. We have a chic fil a in Minnesota and my visit was my first and very last time at any chic fil a. It wasn’t tasty at all and the customer service wasn’t as good as I’d hoped.
Sit back ladies and gents, cuz I’ve got a life changing story to tell you!
My husband and I were famished after doing some work in the area, but didn’t want anything super heavy because we still had more to do. I asked him if he wanted chic fil a. We both looked at each other and silently agreed this is the best option out of what was in the area. So we decide to stop by and eat inside. My first thought when we pulled in was holy moly it’s super clean outside. Not a napkin or paper bag in sight. Then when we walked in, same thought! Also, it didn’t smell like month old grease like most fast food places. So, we walk up to the front counter and the woman taking our order greeted us with the biggest, warmest smile I have literally ever seen. I was perplexed! Is she being facetious??? I proceeded with caution. I explained to her we’ve never been to a chic fil a and that we weren’t from the area. She asked where from and I told her Minnesota. I expected a lame ‘isn’t it cold up there’ comment, but she smiled even bigger and said ‘welcome to chic fil a!!! Let me tell you about the menu!!’ She then proceeded to run down every single option the menu offered. Literally in about 30 seconds. We ordered our food and two cups of some of the best lemonade I’ve ever drank. My husband is giving me the ultimate side eye right now so I’ll wrap this up. Our food was delicious. The customer service was quite literally unmatched. The woman that helped us even came to our table to ask how everything was. Now I get why people talk to highly about this place. We will...
Read moreI typically don’t leave reviews, but my experience today was extremely disappointing — so much so that if I could give zero stars, I would. On August 2nd at 10:20 AM, I placed a breakfast order through Chick-fil-A while checking out at Harris Teeter. When I arrived at the mobile pickup station at 10:39 AM, the system showed that I had no order, despite the fact that my card had already been charged.
I called to speak with someone about the issue, and Abigail initially answered. I explained the situation, and she took my name and number, then abruptly placed me on hold. A moment later, a man named Jacob picked up and said, “Abigail had to go to lunch, so tell me again.” I found this incredibly unprofessional — customer service should never be dropped mid-conversation for a lunch break, especially without a proper handoff.
As I re-explained my situation to Jacob, he seemed rushed, dismissive, and had a poor attitude. He told me there was nothing they could do, and suggested I contact my bank on Monday — essentially brushing off the issue. When I asked for clarification, Jacob stated that their system cuts off breakfast orders at 10:29:30 AM, even if the order was placed and paid for before 10:30.
I have always loved Chick-fil-A for its outstanding customer service, but this experience was a letdown. The general manager and staff at this location could really benefit from re-training in basic courtesy and customer support. No one took responsibility, and no one attempted to help resolve the issue.
Hopefully, this was just an isolated incident — but it left a very...
Read moreI visited this Chick-fil-A with my family today during the lunch rush. Even with a shocking amount of people inside everything ran quickly and efficiently.
The employee that took our order at the counter was friendly and our food arrived at our table as we were sitting down. So fast!
Now for the reason I’m taking the time to write a review - Sheri. We spoke with her in the restroom (which was perfectly clean) upon arrival and had such a sweet conversation with her.
After we sat down she noticed that something was amiss and immediately took the food that got mixed up and returned with the correct item and a larger quantity than I even ordered. She was so helpful and it was amazing to not have to get up and leave my kiddos at the table to get things fixed.
I noticed her going above and beyond checking in with other guests and tables too. She had a kind word for everyone and is clearly a hard worker, she did not stop the whole time we were there! Which was quite a while.
She and the other staff were absolutely on top of cleaning tables, sweeping floors, vacuuming rugs, and restocking the condiment station as the lunch rush slowed down.
We come through the drive thru here occasionally but our dine in experience today will definitely have us stopping in more. It’s also a super nice bonus how many tables are near the play area to keep an eye...
