Second review update:
Decided to give them another shot since the owner replied to my review
This place will forever lose my business I don’t care if the food is good or not what annoys me is the tip setting they have set for square pay when ordering off their website
It is default to 20 percent and there isn’t a “no tip” option you must go to custom and type in zero to remove the tip that is already added to the order
This is scummy technique to get more money from people who order online quickly instead of paying their employees properly
Why do I have to tip just to pickup my own food!?
This is not even a sit down location it’s literally standing room only what service am I tipping for?!
First review:
Haven’t ordered in a couple months and the last time the used to have paper boxes instead of plastic but the food doesn’t taste the same
The last time I ate the same exact thing but remember so many more flavors now everything seems bland from the slaw to the kaluha pork which had so much fat and tasted flavorless

Read moreVery excited that Buddah Bruddah opened in Kirkland in the Kingsgate neighborhood! They offer a variety of Hawaiian-inspired dishes, mixed plates, and also Thai dishes.
Ordered lunch in-person around 1:15pm on a Wednesday, and food was ready within 10 minutes. Both the Huli Huli chicken + beef combo and chicken + Kalua pig combo were excellent and quite filling, even for big eaters like myself and my roommate. Each combo came with rice, Asian slaw, and mac salad. The chili sauces found in the store added extra kick and flavors!
Will definitely return to try other items on the menu. They also sell some Asian groceries, pastries, and beverages. Staff members were friendly and service was quick and efficient!
Update 10/01/22: I have returned many times to try out other items, and each time I feel quite satisfied with the food! The mochiko chicken and kalua pork loco...
Read moreI am a local to this area and was very excited about this restaurant to open and finally tried it today. I got the family bundle for $50 with the huli chicken and kalua pork. The food was alright. The mac has a bitter taste as well as the slaw dressing. The taste was definitely off. The chicken just tasted like regular chicken teriyaki. The best dish was the kalua pork, but honestly for the price and taste, L&L Hawaiian chain restaurants tastes much better and has more flavor. The bitter slaw dressing and the bitter mac really threw off my taste buds. Also, all the side sauces they had out were not tasty- I grabbed one of each of them and they were super salty with no distinct flavor. Disappointing. I probably would not...
