I waited 30-40 mins for my to go. Yes it’s busy because they just opened. However I noticed several things while waiting. I ordered one whipped feta tartine that is $16. It took them 30-40 mins to make just that one food item. It’s one slice of sourdough with whipped feta on top. They do not allow refills on iced tea if you are dining in. To me and anyone with common sense, seems a bit greedy. Someone that has paid $100 for food and is dining in should get another refill for iced tea without paying. It’s just water and tea. The tartine was salty. Idk if they added salt to the feta that’s already salty enough but it was not needed. They were extremely busy to where parking is terrible and it made the yoga studio very frustrated for their clients as well. They should be instructing where their other customers can park if they are dinning in. The cafe is pretty but they need to fix their mistakes. They were sold out of food probably before 2pm. My latte was watery and I asked for vanilla I didn’t taste any vanilla. My mom’s chai was bland and didn’t have any spice to it. I think they need to work on their...

Café Amalia is such a hidden gem in Kirkwood! This new spot brings authentic Greek cuisine and specialty coffee together in the best way. The food is incredible—fresh, flavorful, and full of Mediterranean flair. My absolute favorites are the Smoked Salmon and the Olympian Stack—both are beautifully made and absolutely delicious.

On top of the amazing Greek dishes, the coffee is outstanding. Their espresso drinks are smooth and perfectly crafted, easily some of the best in St. Louis.

The atmosphere is gorgeous—warm, welcoming, and beautifully designed. It’s the perfect place to enjoy breakfast, brunch, or just relax with a cup of coffee. If you’re looking for amazing Greek food, great coffee, and a beautiful new café experience, Café Amalia is...

Café Amalia is a very welcomed addition to the Kirkwood/Des Peres community!

Their stunning two-story cafe has every thoughtful detail that makes this design-loving person so happy (the lighting, the cozy and warm seating, gorgeous wallpaper and plant accents everywhere!). The food matches with equal depth of flavor, and the smooth, balanced coffee paired with an incredibly friendly staff makes for an outstanding experience.

Amy has poured so much of herself into every detail, and we can’t wait for this place to be fully open so we can make it one of our regular spots for breakfast and lunch. Highly recommend checking out this beautiful new addition...

St. Louia Food News: There's a new coffee shop + restaurant in Kirkwood! Café Amalia is part coffee bar - part Greek/Mediterranean restaurant. I came in expecting to grab an iced chai & a fresh pastry, but I walked out with an incredible lunch! I could have just ordered my Greek restaurant go-to (a Grilled Chicken Gyro), but the menu here is anything but ordinary: 🥩The Olympian Stack immediately caught my attention: grilled steak (SUPER TENDER), caramelized onions, red pepper, arugula, havarti & meyer lemon horseradish. 🍚The Atlas Bowl featured Amalia's famous meatballs in a marinara sauce over a bed of rice. So filling! 🍳I need to get back to try their breakfast menu: Greek-style French fry omelet, avocado egg sandwich, smoked salmon, croque madame & a brioche French toast There are 2 stories of seating, so pull up a chair and stay for a while. Open 7am-3pm Tuesday-Sunday. #maryeatsstl #cafeamalia #kirkwoodmo #stlcoffee

We’re visiting from Arizona and had to stop at the new Café Amalia in Kirkwood to try their Greek inspired menu…and WOW, we’re obsessed! We’re always on the hunt for hidden gems, and this intimate, toddler-friendly café is perfect for families! Our girls devoured the French toast (hands-down the best I’ve ever had), we can’t rave about this place enough and will definitely be back! 🇬🇷🏛️🍳 #stl #newrestaurant #stlmom #thingstodo #trending
