I just visited Kaldi’s for the first time over the weekend. I’m actually not a big coffee person (I drink it, but I certainly could live without it), however I was there to meet a friend for a breakfast date and some girl time, which I’ll almost never pass up!
I noticed there were several chai options on the menu, so I ordered the cashier’s recommendation (was super yum), and I also ordered a particularly delicious-looking piece of chocolate chip banana bread (was indeed delicious) that was making eyes with me through a glass that’s surely only in place so that all of the beautiful baked treats will not suddenly and mysteriously disappear upon my arrival…haha!
There was a line, but it moved along pretty well, and the people working there were just so polite and lovely to interact with. Wait was 15 minutes for my chai, which was spot-on with what they notified me of prior to placing my order. For a very busy Saturday morning, 15 minutes for a chai doesn’t seem like a big deal to me. We got a table while we waited, so no standing inside, and we were able to start enjoying the weather before it got hot out (the sun rose from behind the building, so we sat for a good 2 hours without direct sun). A speaker outside announced when orders were ready for those not waiting inside, so no worries about your order sitting around without your knowledge.
I definitely recommend a visit to Kaldi’s. I think you’ll really enjoy it, even if coffee isn’t your most favorite thing, and if you hang around long enough (like we did), you won’t even have to move your car to...
Read moreOver it, it didn’t think it could get any worse. Place is a total ripoff. $4.99 for orange juice, get a double shot specifically say for here. They put it in a Togo cup. Guy with the hat and the long blonde hair asks me. “If I want the whole set up” I said yeah just not the chocolate beans. He proceeds to just throw and I mean throw the shot in a cup and leave it there, and as I made the comment “there’s no creama” he just blows it off and says “yeah my bad” walks away and ignores me because he clearly cannot handle the working pressure when honestly they weren’t even busy.. ignores me blows me off and gets flustered even trying to work his station. If this was the only thing I’ve had happen at this cafe, I’d be fine. But this place is ruined now. Customer service is ignorant, terrible, I will continually persuade my friend s family and community away...
Read moreMy husband got the breakfast burrito and I got the avocado toast and I asked for three scrambled eggs on the side. The burrito was good sized (looks small in the picture for some reason) and it was delicious! Definately recommend! The eggs were good! Avocado toast wasn't actually toasted. It tasted like it was made in house which was good but was a little tough. I think it would have been much better if it would have been toasted!
We also got a cinnamon role and an orange almond muffin. Neither were bad, good but also not anything I would get again.
Loved the coffee!! They have a sugar free vanilla which was good! It would be nice to have more sugar free options available but glad they had one though!
I loved the atmosphere. Low light and cozy yet a little modern...
