7593 Chophouse — Restaurant in Kissimmee

We had reservations to dine here with friends of ours, who are regulars. We let them and the very informative staff take us on a culinary ride, which turned out to be very thrilling.

This is a high-end restaurant, decorated with a celebrity golfing theme. Scattered around the restaurant are photographs of celebrities golfing, like Joe Namath, Dean Martin, Audrey Hepburn and others. They even have a signature line of cocktails to match some of the celebrities, like the Dean Martini.

The bread service came with the meal and happened to feature a marrow butter, which was flavored very delicately and melted on the still warm bread. Combined with the Amuse Bouche of an asparagus bisque with lemon cream, the meal was off and running.

There were many specialties to choose from, but the staff and our friends finally helped me to land on the Ossobuco. As the waitress claimed, a knife will come with the meal, but you won't need it. She was absolutely correct. The meat was tender and could be eaten with a fork. Piled on top of the mushroom risotto, it was a combination that was top notch.

The lobster mac and cheese substituted for a whole meal for my wife and was a decent size for an item considered to be a side dish. The restaurant also features an entire wine selection and for those so inclined, a cigar humidor with a good selection of smoking opportunities as well.

The meal was excellent, the atmosphere was quite relaxed and enjoyable and the staff was very locked on, attending to every need and offering their wisdom and experience to those in need of assistance. Our dining experience at 7953 Chophouse was absolutely outstanding. We started with the beef tartare, onion soup, and Caesar salad. The tartare initially came out a bit too salty, but the staff was incredibly attentive and quickly adjusted it to perfection. The onion soup was rich and flavorful, and the Caesar salad was fresh with a delightful dressing.For our entrées, we opted for the New York strip, venison chops, and the 45-day dry-aged steak. Each dish was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The New York strip was juicy and tender, the venison chops were uniquely delicious with a perfect balance of gaminess, and the dry-aged steak was a true highlight, with a rich and complex flavor profile.Our drinks were equally impressive. I had the St. Augustine mule, which was refreshing and perfectly balanced, and the smoked peach old fashioned, which had a wonderful depth of flavor and a subtle smokiness that paired wonderfully with the sweetness of the peach.The ambiance of the restaurant is sophisticated and cozy, making it an ideal spot for a special evening out. We decided that we wanted to give Chophouse a try as it's on the property, easy to get to, and we were all a bit tired.

There were six in our party and had reservations for the evening. The wait staff ensured us we would not be rushed and let us know that we were to enjoy our dinner.

Appetizers were ordered and the onion soup was delicious according to my companions. I decided to forego the pre-meal as I was looking forward to a nicely cooked fillet.

How do I describe this incredibly tasty petite steak? I ordered mine medium rare and the cook was spot-on. Nice and pink throughout, deliciously seasoned, and beautifully presented with a side of crisp baked brussel sprouts... I was delighted with how tender my steak was! I could have easily cut it with a butter knife. The sprouts made a wonderful accompaniment to my fillet.

Also ordered were the lamb chops, thick-cut pork chop, half roasted chicken, and steak frites. We all shared bites around the table and had a wonderful experience.

Two brave souls ordered dessert and the warm apple tart hit all the happy high notes.
