These two stars I’m giving this resort are a mixture of terrible communication, bad layout, bad upkeep and unacceptable conditions for a presidential suite resort experience. All employees gave us different answers to questions and inquiries we had which none apparently were true. The room, grounds and building were what felt like a cheap motel in the sense of outdated fashion and unclean and unkept conditions;again for a resort and presidential accommodations. The hot tub was Luke warm at best. The elevator did not work half the time and apparently is not up to code (see pictures). The buttons wouldn’t stay lit on the 3rd floor and the light stayed on for days on the first and the elevator came half the time. When we came into our room there was an air vent placed on the counter that belonged in the ceiling. And I say “placed” not fell because it was not under the girl it belonged in. The phone did not work. The surfaces on furniture, railings, cabinets and walls were dinged, dented, scuffed and dirty. Televisions were old and very outdated. I’ve stayed in many Wyndham resorts in this is the first one where the special amenities they give you are just two cream and sugars for your coffee. And yes I called that was not a mistake. I hate to sound like a “Karen” but again when you go for a resort experience, you expect something better than a...
Read moreIf you are looking for a sign, this is it - RUN THE OTHER WAY! Visit started off by waiting almost an hour to check in after a long day of travel(it was around 6pm not the middle of the night). I have a family member who has a disability and utilizes an wheelchair, which resort was well aware of - yet, they put us on the third floor in a building with an elevator that was out of service, and out of commission with a posted notice from the state. The cherry on top, was today finding bed bugs in multiple rooms; called the front desk and after 3 hours with no response, had to seek out the rudest “manager” - T. Matson, that I have ever had the misfortune of speaking with. Manager threatened to call security and made the comment, “oh you must find them often?” I truly cannot believe the treatment and conditions at this “resort”, and the incompetence...
Read moreReally did love the resort when we first got there. The rooms were great as well as the atmosphere. One thing that was disappointing, was that we always celebrate our birthdays at wyndhams and I asked 2 different clerks if they could surprise my husband with a little something in the room, they said they would see what they could do but never got back with me. If its not something this particular location does I would've been ok with it, its just fun to get little something and if not just be honest and do not lead me on. I would understand. Last thing, which was quite disappointing considering we pay $265 a month in maintenance fees, when we asked for some more mouthwash and and few extra packets of coffee, we were told that we get what is supplied in the room and we can go to the gift shop to buy some more😱😱😱 Never ever expected...
