Delicious alternative to a Chinese take out. I was surprised to see a sushi bar and booths and nice tables and chairs inside this nicely decorated “take out” restaurant on the corner of a Publix plaza. This restaurant features Japanese food including Yakisoba noodle dishes but there are very similar dishes to very popular Chinese take out dishes that everyone should not be afraid to try something new.
I came at lunch so I was curious to try one of their $7.25 Hibachi lunch specials. That price includes a drink and is slightly more than most Chinese take out lunch specials but after tasting it, it is definitely worth it! I ordered the Hibachi steak which came on a real plate full of fresh plain fried rice, a very good assortment of Hibachi vegetables and 10 one inch chunks of steak with a side container of the ever so popular yellow yum-yum/seafood sauce.
I was expecting slivers if steak like you usually get when you order beef with broccoli at a Chinese take out but was pleasantly surprised to see the tender and juicy inch big cubes of steak! The Hibachi vegetables were still crisp and flavorful and the sauce it’s marinated in is just the right blend of sweet and salty. The portion is much larger than I have ever had even in a sit down Chinese restaurant for a lunch portion, so I definitely recommend...
Read moreI give this place a 5 star review, the food is amazing, the prices are reasonable, the restaurant is clean, and the service is great. This is not a hibachi restaurant where they cook in front of you which is good because you save money and don't have sit there for a show, its a casual restaurant and the cashier's will gladly assist you if you need anything. They have lunch specials for a reasonable price and it comes with a drink. Janet and Della and Jessie were very patient and kind. Anthony makes great sushi as always and the older Chinese guy makes great yakisoba. I reccommend the Mexican sushi roll if you like creamcheese with fried shrimp and spicy mayo. You wont find better noodles than the yakisoba here, and the yum sauce on top!! Is busssssinnnnn. The spicy mayo is so good. And most sauces are freshly made unlike other places where they have the sauce shipped to the restaurant. So honestly, there's something here for everyone, they always have new things to try on the menu, and there are also these cool like, vending machines there that spit out toys. If your looking for something to eat...
Read moreNot worth the money! Paid $24 didn't get much. Not outstanding attempt to cook something amazing for this price. Delivery fast with Uber Eats but packaging was 2 food items ordered in containers in a plastic bag like where is the attempt to keep the food warm or from somebody opening it and eating something out of it there's no tape on the product to know if someone opened it or not otw! So Covid wrong! Hibachi salmon & shrimp was tasty but it could have had a little bit more flavor in the rice & too small of portion!! I think they could have did a bigger portion of salmon i got like 5 bites for $15 no noodles and usually it comes with noodles and not only rice. Got Mexican sishi rolls (tempera shrimp, avocado and cream cheese) also. The avocado barely existed in the roll and when it did it was brown. Super small sushi rolls never seen them that tiny. No attempt at giving you a fresh & flavorful favorite dish just blah!...
