First time trying this place, found it on UberEats and decided to dine in with the family. Some of the food was good, some was underwhelming, but service was not up to par. Some unacceptable things detailed below.
We ordered the following:
Steamed Dumplings: they were alright
Chicken Manchurian: did not taste like traditional manchurian, had a hint of fennel, would not order again
Szechuan Chicken: this was good, we enjoyed it
Spicy Mango Chicken: this was alright
Szechwan Fried Rice: this was good, we enjoyed it, would order again
Chicken Chili Honey: this was really good, would order again
Fried Ice Cream: very underwhelming, shell is too thick to enjoy, ice cream isn't sweet enough to offset the fried shell
Gulab Jamun: they were alright
Service Issues:
We arrived closer to closing time and as a restaurant owner and multiple business owner, I understand what that means. The staff is doing their best to close the kitchen and clean up so they aren't there all night. I'm reasonable and wouldn't expect anything crazy, just the standard level of service that should be provided no matter the time. Kitchen closes at 9:45pm, we placed our order at 9:30.
When taking our order, the server did a great job explaining items and recommending house specials. However, a comment was made that was not ok. When one of my family members asked about the Crispy Chili Potatoes as a starter, the server said something along the lines of they are good if you don't mind gaining more weight. If it was a joke on potatoes/starches leading to weight gain, it could have been delivered better and with a laugh. Not with a straight face, directed at someone who is already weight conscious.
I ordered mixed rice which comes with chicken, lamb, and shrimp. I was served vegetarian. I pointed it out and it was taken back and I'm pretty sure the 3 were thrown in the same rice which is fine, but the protein to rice ratio was very low. Other than that, it was ok that the wrong item came out because things happen, they fixed it. Just would've liked more out of a mixed dish.
At 9:40ish we were notified of the last call for orders in case we wanted anything else before kitchen closes. We asked if we can place our dessert order. Proceeded to order 2 fried ice creams and gulab jamun. The problem with this was the ice cream was brought out right after the food. We had just started eating and it was at our table. The runner said sorry we are closing the kitchen and I told him we cannot take this right now, the ice cream is going to sit here and melt. I asked him to put it in the freezer until after the meal. He took it back. And then it was brought out again 10mins later and put on our table, while we were in the middle of eating. Fried ice cream is best served fresh but you can store it in the freezer to eat later, especially when it's a matter of 20mins and the customer specifically asked you to put it in the freezer. This was unacceptable because it shows the staff had 0 regard to what we wanted and were more concerned with the convenience of their closing.
There was no warm reception. When you go to a dine in restaurant, you want to feel welcomed and served. It felt as if our business was an inconvenience. When we were leaving the staff was standing backs facing to us talking among themselves. After standing up to leave, we looked in their direction and waited for a few to say thanks and good night (even despite the service issues) but they didn't even acknowledge that we were leaving so we just left.
I'm not leaving this review as a complaint. This is from the perspective of a restaurant owner that would want to know where my service was lacking. The points above are provided as feedback to help you with your operations, especially as a new business in town. Hope it's taken as that and actioned for improvements. I would be open to dining in again in the near future to give the experience...

Read moremy friends and I drove about 2 hours to try this place after seeing some good reviews on tiktok. The food looks very good and I loved the idea of a fusion restaurant like this. That being said there were some issues.
As soon as we walked in it sort of felt like we were being accommodated way more than other customers and having a watchful eye on us. One staff member kept coming up to us while we were looking at the menu and basically it felt like he was keeping an eye on us.
I judge indian restaurants by their butter chicken. I like other indian food a lot but this place was new and I wanted to give it a try. While the waiter was taking my order, this same staff member was hovering over him and listening to our order. As soon as I said butter chicken he basically was like oh you shouldn’t order that this is a cool restaurant with better food and you can get butter chicken anywhere but you should try something else. While I appreciate the sentiment, it made me feel very uncomfortable when I was just trying to order my food. Everyone at the table felt uncomfortable especially since we were just wanting to try a new restaurant.
That being said, the butter chicken was alright. It lacked some key flavors but overall if you give me curry with rice i’m gonna eat it lol. The naan was a different texture than i’m used to but it was quite good. Their veggie samosas were also delish.
I probably won’t be back, due to the uncomfortable experience I had, but I am very...
