Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Kittery

I haven't been here in decades! Looks great! This DQ offers cooked food, but, ice-cream is, I believe, the "Maine attraction" ! The line was going along the side of the building, so I ordered online for everyone. Downloading the app, registration and order took five minutes. The assembly of the order took minutes. Friendly service. My son had a Kid Cone dipped in chocolate 🍫. My friend, she wanted a Hot Fudge Sundae, on a Sunday, and I had a mini Blizzard Chocolate Brownie Extreme. We liked our ice-creams. Picnic tables available. I thought I saw an employee wiping down the tables. I'm not much on franchise food, but, I recommend a visit. Update: Sunday, September, 2020; Online order went well. This was some of the absolute BEST Dairy Queen I've ever had. This store does work a bit differently from those I'm used to: instead of a true drive-thru, you walk up to the building, place your order, and then wait outside for your food (the wait being a bit longer than the standard drive-thru wait). However, the benefit of this model is quite clear – the food is made fresh. I placed an order for two double cheeseburgers and two large fries around 6PM, and all of the food was steaming hot when we picked it up. They also gave up a huge amount of fries; my local Dairy Queens barely fill the baskets to the top, but this location had them stacked so high I could barely pull the baskets out of the bag without dropping fries everywhere!

My family and I just moved near the DQ and after dinner one night we all wanted some ice cream so we went there. I ordered a strawberry cheesecake blizzard and it was not a blizzard whatsoever. It was so runny and drippy. Had she turned it upside down it would have gone all over the place! I asked for a bowl to put it in and they said they didn't have any. So I asked for a bigger cup so I could dump it in and she put my cup inside the bigger cup. Didn't dump it just put it in and it didn't make a difference at all!
