Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Kittery

Absolutely infuriated with our delivery tonight. Placed an order for one medium ham and pineapple pizza and a large thin crust alfredo, spinach, and feta pizza at 6:07pm for an ETA delivery of 25-35 minutes. We waited and waited and about a half hour in when it still wasn’t even out for delivery we gave a little leeway thinking “Oh it’s Saturday Night pizza and college football.”. Well then we hit an hour in and it finally said out for delivery. For reference to the story, according to Google Maps we live a solid 5-7 minutes away. Yes, we could have picked up but we’re relaxing in pj’s and what’s the point of delivery if it’s not okay? Anyways a full 1 hour and 20 minutes after our initial placing of the order our pizzas finally arrived. Our driver apologized for the delay and we understood it wasn’t his fault. Unfortunately, our pizzas were cold. Our large alfredo, spinach, and feta was like cardboard, had no feta, and barely had an alfredo sauce on it. Our ham and pineapple luckily saved our hungry selves after a quick trip in the toaster oven. Good deals = Crap Service? Disappointed as we had been craving a delicious...

They wear gloves to prepare your pizza but not to actually pull it out of the oven or box it. Which is Backwards..

Sat here for about an hour watching them touch every single pizza with their bare hands, after cooking them. Even to pull it out of the oven. Really, it is asinine to think you would prepare pizzas with gloves, then bake your Pizza and kill any germs that could have possibly been there with gloves on, then handle your pizzas without gloves on.

That is absolutely a problem and shows nobody here knows anything about food safety. If anything you prepare a pizza without gloves on and then wear gloves to handle it and put it in the box... how is this that hard to understand?

I am sharing this to every single person I know in the area. There's places in town that use gloves when handling prepared food, not just while preparing food.

For real though, let's kill germs on the pizza and then cover it in germs! Watching employees touch their face, cash, pull their pants up and then grab a pizza by the crust to pull it out the oven? I want to v o m i t. And you...

I was actually nervous about placing an order through the app here. I read some of the recent reviews on Google Maps and most were 1 ⭐, except for one reviewer who gave this Domino's 5 ⭐ s because she said the inside was tidy and her order was good. We were in Kittery and my kids wanted pizza 🍕! I was very surprised at how well I was treated and our order was ready at the promised time on the app! I was asked if I needed paper plates and napkins. The inside was tidy, including the bathroom! Everyone liked the pizzas! I'm not a big fan of pizza anymore but I liked it. The staff were even patient when my son acted up. I took my son outside and sat at the available table with chairs as we finished our pizza. My friend, she sat with my daughter inside. We came back a second time and received good service. Wisconsin 6 Cheese 🍕 pizza everyone likes the best. I recommend this Domino's pizzeria. I hope you get the service and quality we received!
