We live in Western mass and love going up to Maine whenever we get the chance this time we decided to stop at yummy and see what they had. Yes, the place was packed with everything you can imagine And we ended up buying $32 worth of candy of it was candy. We grew up on. we were in heaven that is until we got home. I opened up my favorite which was a bar but my disappointment the chocolate was white and the fillings were all dried up. I looked at the expiration date and lo and behold. It expired back in 2022 I know I should’ve checked the dates before I bought it but it never even really entered my mind as I was so excited to see these candy bars, my husband proceeded to open his salted cashews to His surprise, the cashews were not salted as stated another disappointment. And when I called to see if you were open for customers , the girl on the other end replied , "yes we are." I was so excite . I live in NH and couldn't wait to go to one of my favorite candy stores that I have been shopping at for about 10 years now. I get there with a friend of mine and we were turned away because we didn't have face masks on. I understand the pandemic that's going on right now, but there were no other customers in the store, and we wouldn't have been in there any longer than 10 or 15 minutes. I drove all that way because the girl I spoke to on the phone didnt inform me about the state requirement for the masks. My state doesn't have that and I'm not going to research every other states requirements. She should have told me over the phone about it when I asked if you were open.
