Applebee's Grill + Bar | IHOP — Restaurant in Klamath Falls

My fiancé and I have been to Applbee's several times in many different cities, including this one a few times. However, the last few times we have gone have been pretty bad. So bad we will probably never go again.

One of the times our server was very depressing and a bit rude. After waiting way too long for our food, my fiancé found a hair under her steak. When we brought it to our server, she questioned weather it was our hair. We explained it couldn't be ours since it was UNDER the steak. She asked if we wanted a new one, or just wanted it taken off the bill. My fiancé was so upset with the servers attitude with the situation that she didn't want a new one. After a few minutes, they brought out a new steak anyways, although I wouldn't doubt it was the same steak. We sent it back and asked for the check. When we got the check, they still tried to charge us for the steak.

After afew months we went back and got the two for $20. Our service took forever, and when we finally got our food after 20 minutes, tje appatizer came out with the entrées and they were all barley warm.

Recently we decided to give it one last try. We got the two for $20 again and I also wanted to get a few drinks. Got my first one quickly, but once I finished it, I waited over 10 minutes to even get to order my second. I had to wait for the server to come get our food order. It was made quickly, but I could see it sitting at the bar for about 20 minutes. We never even saw our server till she brought our entrées out after that 20 minutes. I had to ask not only about our drink, but our apparizer since the entrées came out before the the appatizer. She looked confised and said she would check. We began eating our entrées, which were just warm. After another 5 minutes or so, she finally came with my drink and our appetizer. We got the spinach and artichoke dip. The bowl for the dip was half full and burnt on top. Both the dip and the chips were extremly hot. Definatly hotter than our entrées. We guessed they forgot our appetizer and quickly heated it up. Never ordered a third drink, even though I wanted one, because I didn't want to be there another hour waiting.

All in all, food was generally okay, but the service and staff were horrible. Will never go to this Applebee's again, and will be hesitant to go to others. They should close this business down and turn it into...

Skip this Applebees!! Was greeted by a young boy w/long hair and several facial piercings. Seated and waited quite a bit for service. Husband and I requesred mango tea for our drinks. After a lengthy wait, the staff brought out 2 lemonades.......we both looked at the girl and said we ordered mango tea that looks like lemonade. Her response was well that's what it must be and walked off. After quite a while, someone finally came back to our table with part of our order. Also, not as we had ordered it. I requested no tomatoes on my pasta, and husband wanted steak well done.....it was med rare at best. Oh, and broccoli w/cheese is supposed to be more than broccoli on a plate with cold shredded cheese right? Because they looked at us like we were aliens for not getting what is pictured in the menu. We had our 2 kids with us and the youngest had ordered a Baja blast. They told him they were out but moments later they walked past our table with a glass of it that went to someone else.......our other son ordered a simple side salad and yogurt w/strawberries.....it didn't come out with the rest of our food. I still did not have my requested drink at this point either. Salad took asking 2 more times and 20 min later for it to arrive.....a salad! Waitress apologized and said they were short staffed. You can be short staffed and still make food correctly and set a table. We think she was high......she kept mentioning needing a smoke break to another employee right in front of us. When I finally got my correct Drink she brought out a to go drink as an apology. It was supposed to be another mango tea it was unsweetened tea. My son who finally got his salad still didn't get his strawberries and yogurt. After asking several times we received we it but with no spoon. Asked for a spoon and water refills for the kids........we left without him.ever receiving the spoon or basic water to wash down his food. Rediculous. Litterally told.the people coming in good luck...

Sweet baby Jesus this has been the WORST experience at any place in Klamath Falls. We've come to celebrate a birthday and have been seated for over an hour. We've had to request the forgotten drink of the birthday girl. My drink took even longer to get here and then came out without the extra salt I asked for. THEN as soon as I drink a couple sips and the level was down I found that there was someone's lipstick on the far side of the glass. I walked it to the bar and asked for it o be remade in a clean glass. She said yes but walked away from the bar and I'm still waiting I it to be replaced. My food (appetizers) still isn't here although many tables who arrived after us are being served. The kids meal and two other people who ordered apps also don't have food yet. We've asked if they lost our order and were given the excuse that he computers are down so they're having to hand write all the orders. I'm certain they absolutely lied about being able to accommodate gluten free and we have two people who celiac. Celiac is a legit disease it's no good to bring out food and not know which plate is gf. I've yet to see a manager which is ridiculous. So I asked to cancel my order and was responded to with "I'm going to go talk to my manager, I'll be back" while smacking her wrists together. The food they brought my grandparents & aunty required steak knives but none came out. I asked for them, the hostess got brought me three wrapped in a napkin, but when I got to the table and unwrapped them they were DIRTY knives. I am completely dumbfounded. To top it off the waitress AGAIN tried to tell me this was because they're computers were down. I looked her dead in the eye and told her that the computer doesn't do the dishes or remake drinks so I don't want to hear that pathetic excuse again.
