C & D Burger Shoppe — Restaurant in Klamath Falls

The food is typical greasy, fried food, but that is not why I gave them one star. I did so because I was charged three times the cost of my meal. I called the owner to inform her once I caught the mistake on my bank account. She apologized and said she "has had a hell of a time with the credit card machine charging the wrong amount." She said she would send me a check right away, no questions asked. Two weeks later I still had not received a refund so I called again. This time the owner blamed her staff and said she thought one of her employees was pulling a fast one. She then asked me who it was that rang me up and asked if that person was (and I quote word for word) "was she a colored girl?" I informed her that she was not. She apologized again and said she would send me a refund asap. That was two weeks ago and yet again no refund. I highly recommend you check your bank account if you have purchased food here since by the owner's own admission, her credit card machine mis-charges...

This place is awesome! The service was friendly, attentive, and quick despite the presence of a rush. Indoor seating was appreciated in the 20 degree weather, although there's only space for about 15 people to sit inside. Outside there are picnic tables or you could choose to eat in your car or call in your order to go. The burgers are juicy with plentiful toppings. We also had the onion rings (hand battered and delightfully flaky) and the deep fried mushrooms (which were first to disappear at the table). The milkshakes are thick and the choice of flavors available has enough variety that everyone will find something that will please them. I wish I had noticed sooner I could have added pineapple to my burger :-) We will definitely be stopping again (or a few more times) next time we're in Klamath Falls. After years, I finally decided to revisit C&D Burger, and I couldn't be happier with my choice! I ordered the midi burger topped with grilled onions and mushrooms, and I opted for a small combo. To my delight, they generously upgraded my drink to a milkshake!

Everything at C&D is made in-house, from the hot, crispy fries to the creamy and flavorful milkshake, and of course, the hamburger. I have to say, their hamburger is one of the best I've had in a long time, especially for being in town. It actually tastes like a real hamburger, so fresh and flavorful!

What surprised me most was the quick wait time. Plus, the newly renovated interior creates a welcoming atmosphere that’s perfect for a casual dinner or a delightful lunch. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, the quality of the food makes it well worth it.

I highly recommend giving C&D Burger a try. I know I'll definitely be coming...
