Alteration Station on Main — Local services in Klamath Falls

Final update from 1 star to 3 stars- I was issued a full refund for the services provided. While I am frustrated with the situation in its entirety, I do appreciate that the business was willing to own their mistakes and make it right.

Additional update- found a different alterations place to meet my needs. The shirt still measured at the length labeled on the tag and the seamstress I found believes that the shirt was never even touched. Also the coat sleeves were too short and not done properly. The liner was not adhered to the outer shell of the jacket at all (see attached picture). Lastly, the rank insignia on the jacket and the shirt are far too low and too far back on the arm. I was assured when I dropped these items off that they knew where they went and did not need to measure it out. I will be returning for a refund on these items and I will update again depending on how that interaction goes.

Updated to 1 star from 2 stars- I tried my shirt on that I had altered for sleeve length and the sleeves are still extremely long to the point of being baggy (see attached picture). The pants fit well and the length was good. The coat fit well and the sleeve length was good. The one issue I had with the coat was the length. I did not ask to have the length of the coat altered but I was told when I was getting measurements taken they the length looked good. The coat is about 2.5-3 inches too long (see attached picture). I am now looking for alterations in Medford that can help me out because I am beyond frustrated.

Short version: if you need your items by a specific date, be mindful that this business cannot promise that to you.

It is frustrating that this business is the only option in town for alterations. I dropped off a set of Air Force service dress uniform items (pant, shirt and coat) on April 23rd, the staff was friendly and helpful on that day. All I needed was pants hemmed, and sleeves shortened on the shirt and coat and military rank sewn on. I informed the staff that I needed these items back prior to May 9th and the gentleman who works up front told me they could have them done for me by May 7th. He was also very explicit in informing me to not contact them, and that they would contact me when the items are ready for pickup. May 7th arrives and I don’t ever get a call. I decided to contact them before they close because I need my uniforms on May 9th (they were closed on the 8th) I was told over the phone on May 7th that my uniforms were not ready and the earliest they can get them done is May 10th (today). They did complete them today and upon picking them up, I asked the man why they were not done on the 7th like promised, and he was very quick to inform me that they do not promise completion dates. I was told today that I can request any day I want but they can not guarantee a date. This directly contradicts what the same man told me when I dropped off my uniforms on the 23rd of last month. I have not yet looked over the craftsmanship of the work, but I will be sure to update this review...

This is a cute shop that I happened across because she is the local pick up destination for anything you purchase on Wish.com. When you order from the website wish.com you are given the option at check out to have your items shipped directly to you (which costs more) or you can have them shipped here for pick-up, so I chose the latter. Took my wedding dress here and ended up having to purchase a new one. I dropped it off at the end of July. My dress was hemmed too short (which I originally thought I could live with so I continued with the alterations process).
