Me and my husband were super upset with this restaurant. Their food is okay. But dishes and utensils are not clean. There was even a plastic string inside the starter we ordered. We have 3 adults and 2 little kids. They charged us 20% ā€œlarge party feeā€ secretly and also asked for 18% tips. The so called ā€œlarge party feeā€ was not mentioned at all the entire time when we were there. And they didn’t offer any detailed bill to us. They only told us to go to the front and just tap our card and chose the tip. If we didn’t ask for a email receipt, we would never find out their cheating behavior. I’m okay to pay extra money if that’s their policy and we were informed at the beginning. But I’m not okay that I was charged for extra money secretly. It is shame on them!

The own is trying to shift the blame to us. First you didn’t verbally tell us there’s a large party fee. The guy who guided us is cold and barely talked to us. Every time when we say ā€œthank you!ā€ He just ignored us. So you are saying that it is our fault we didn’t read the menu word by word and didn’t find out the hidden charge? I’m just curious, why you guys didn’t provide any itemized bill for us to check before we pay? This restaurant only provide printed receipt after you pay. For your reference, all other restaurants are providing a itemized list for customers to check before paying the bill. Also adding another dish has nothing to do with your hidden charges and sneaky behavior. Looks like it is our fault giving you guys tips even after we found the plastic string inside the dish. Looks like sometime being nice can be taken advantage by people. I’m not going to argue with you any more. For the future customers: their food is okay, but be careful with the food safety and sanitation, and be alert with the...

I've been here for many special occasions, and I have never once regretted visiting. The majority of their dishes range in the 8 to 12 dollar range, and they give you the perfect amount to eat. Tai Orchid strikes a generous balance between quality and price.

The servers have always been friendly at the least, if not humorous and smiling often. It can be a little hard to spot the entrance, but once you walk in the decorations begin to surround and immerse you. There are two rooms to eat in, and I believe the side room can be booked for large groups or special occasions.

Once you find a seat or are seated (both have happened), there is a large and easy to read menu to choose from. If you can't pronounce the dish, you can simply say the number and they will get it right. They cater to those in a rush as well, because you can call in ahead of time and order take out.

Some of their dishes are served specially, like the hot plate dish. They bring you a seafood platter on a differently shaped hot-plate. It's a great experience being served a different kind of way than most restaurants.

Overall, I've found that nearly every dish has a flavor or a sauce that goes well with rice and will explode on your tastebuds! Like I said, Tai Orchid strikes a generous balance between quality and price. The next time I visit Klamath falls, this is very likely the place...

We ordered takeout for five adults and one mid-elementary school-aged child. I believe we ordered five dishes to share plus a spring roll type appetizer.

The young woman who took our order over the phone was pleasant and placing the order was simple. As an FYI/heads up to others, we found that they are unable to accept payment ahead of time for a takeout order over the phone, which was somewhat inconvenient for us, but not a huge deal.

The order came to around $75, but the portions were generous enough that it was much more than enough food for all of us, and we are still enjoying leftovers. Unfortunately, I can't describe every dish we ordered because I did not try them all.

I can say that the Panang Curry was decent and satisfying but nothing particularly special (or particularly memorable) in my opinion.

However, the Yellow Curry was quite good, with the vegetables/potatoes cooked just right, and tender, tasty, and well-proportioned pieces of chicken. I personally found it just a tad bit too far on the mild side, spice-wise (and I generally lean toward preferring milder Thai).

When we arrived to collect the order, it was ready promptly and precisely when they said...

Fantastic food and great service. Open on a Sunday night too. Klamath Falls delivers with another gem. It might surprise you but Klamath Falls has a lot of good things going for it. Every time we drive through we seem to find really good food, friendly people and nice places to visit. We had a few of our favorites. Drunken noodles and Tom Kar soup. They were both stellar and brought to us quickly despite the restaurant being very busy. I didn't take pictures of the food but I did snap a pic of the tree out front. Someone had knitted or crocheted the tree a very nice sweater. Klamath Falls really feels like a town that lives for itself. Doesn't matter what you think, people who live here really take care of it. Thai Orchid was fantastic.

Eggplant, mixed veggies and fried tofu was good. Spicy Fish, snapper, ordered "Thai spicy 5" was a bit of a let down. I though I would get a whole fish. What I did get was over cooked. Their Thai spicy level is a medium at best. Thai fried rice with prawns was excellent, nice wok hei, great flavors and nice prawns. The coconut milk sticky rice with mango was excellent as well. This place is legit but caters to the local taste in kalamath. Order everything extra spicy and steer clear of the fish dishes and you will be very happy. Bring breadcrumbs to find your way back from the bathrooms.

All I can say is Wow! Well I can say more as follows. If any of you folks out there are Whole Foods Plant Based and or Vegan be good to yourself and be sure to put this on your Go To place to eat that has great Thai selections. There is an extensive selection of vegetarian dishes that I'm sure will bring many happy memories to your taste buds. All the vegetables are crisp & cooked to perfection. This is a family owned & operated business with great service & food. Thumbs up all the way around. Don't forget don't pass this place up. Love love it....Thumbs up for sure!
