The Falls Taphouse — Restaurant in Klamath Falls

I had one of the worst experiences at this restaurant recently, and it was entirely because of one of the employees. I came here expecting to enjoy good food and drinks with friends, but instead, I was met with shockingly unprofessional behavior.

One of the workers, whose name I believe is Vernon, was nowhere to be found when we were waiting to order drinks. The bar wasn’t busy, but we and several other tables were left waiting for a long time while he was outside taking a break. I later realized he wasn’t just taking a normal break—he was openly SMOKING WEED outside.

When he finally came back in, I politely asked if he could help us, but instead of doing his job, he gave me an attitude, saying something like, “I just had a long day, so I’ll get to it when I get to it.” His tone was dismissive and rude. It was clear he had no interest in providing good service and no respect for the customers.

It’s shocking that the management annd owner allows this kind of behavior to happen. Not only is it unprofessional, but it’s also disrespectful to the paying customers who keep this business running. I’m seriously disappointed and won’t be coming back until this establishment takes its staff and service standards seriously.

Ok...I came here in search of "Taco Truck" beer! 😄 Little did I know that food trucks are the way of dining here. I did not find the beer I was in search of, but found a fountain of beer, cider and wines I've never heard of. I tried #4 "Matchless Fresh Bois"! My advice, drink slow and enjoy the taste of your 🍺. It has a kick. Lol. This is not the place for the occasional alcoholic due to my 20oz costing me $7.50. My cheap self did not run away, but sat and enjoy my beer. I'm glad I did. Cool atmosphere and cool helpful staff. Dog lovers are welcomed...just leave CuJo at the house! By the photo, there are over 30 different beverages to choose from. Oh yeah, you can purchase singles, 4 packs and 6 packs to go. The Taphouse does not offer food, but there are 2 food trucks that offer foods to help with the smooth buzz you'll get. Lol. I ordered the Bratwurst sandwich that came with fries! I had a mixed experience at The Falls. The food was excellent kudos to the kitchen team at the taco truck for that but the service at the bar was awful. The bartender, a young, disheveled Asian looking guy who looked like a “grown up”scene kid, left me waiting for 15-20 minutes while he took an extended break. When he finally returned, his attitude was shockingly rude not just toward me but also toward my dog, who was calmly sitting by my side. I don’t know exactly what he did but my dog yelped as he walked by.

To make matters worse, it was clear he doesn’t take personal hygiene seriously. His unkempt appearance and bad breath were impossible to ignore. It was a major distraction from an otherwise enjoyable meal.

I might come back for the food, but I hope management addresses these glaring issues with their staff. A little professionalism and basic hygiene...
