I drove to Sonic thinking that I was going to enjoy a peaceful meal like I normally do at the Sonic down in fountain City. I mean they're only a few miles apart, can't be that different, right? Well, I was wrong. They are the rudest people I ever seen working for an establishment serving customers. One lady was on the box saying that she could not hear my order. I practically screamed it before another lady asked me to repeat my order once again and then came to my car with another lady in tow. Here she is, frowning at me as she 'hips out her pad and asked me."What you want " I placed my order and before asking how I was paying flipped her hair and shuffled off with rage flowing through her steps. 10 minutes later-Both ladies returned with my food. I handed her my Bank Card. Again the scowl came But this time along come words. You should have just went somewhere else instead of having me to all this, she said. I apologized to her, but for what? Being hungry? She returned with my card, I offered no tipnas she slung it onto my chest while I sat in May car debating if I should say that I was missing the items from my order. I decided to say thank you and pull away before these two ladies (young ladies) decided to key my paint or flatten a tire. I went on down to the other Sonic in Fountain City and bought the items that was missing from my order. It was well worth the double pay and the trip to see the smiles and service that one should receive when dining at an establishment serving customers and hoping for tips. I'll never venture to the Sonic up...
Read moreStopped by on the way to pick my wife, saw that I was running early and thought I'll grab a healthier burger. "If there is such a thing" well healthier than Krystal or McDonald burger.. Service was very slow and just when I pushed the button to say that I couldn't wait any longer.. my order arrived! The Carhop "a very average looking lady in her late 30's" said that she was sorry for the long wait. She handed me my order and apologized for my wait.. like I had already heard earlier on both vehicles on either side of me. With a smile she said that they short staffed & handed me my incorrect order and then my change. She said "I was supposed to get off at 5, but I stayed to help out" I thanked her and gave her a $1.00 tip "feeling good about myself" for thinking I was a good Guy for not saying something like "it's about time!" and driving off in a huff.. knowing that I would be late. I took a bite and then another one, saying to myself that the Supersonic double burger I didn't order was delicious! I sure didn't need the extra calories that the double cheese.. but that this is a tasty burger! Just like "Jewels in Pulp Fiction" 😋😎 Good job Sonic Drive-In on Broadway/Fountain City.. you filled my belly and it was a better...
Read moreI edited my previous 5 star review from 2 years ago due to how disgusted I am. I have lived basically right next door to this location for 4- 5 years ... This location made me fall in love with Sonic to the point the drive- thru people knew me well. I didn't even care that it was the most expensive place to eat fast food in the hood ... But the past year has been atrocious! Every time I eat here I get wildly ill. I'm not even gonna comment on wait time because that's nothing new. I wanted to eat something light so I ordered some chicken slingers and some onion rings. The oil that the food was cooked in was putrid. I could taste literal dirt and sweat I swear. I ordered TWO slingers and couldn't even finish one. And for the price ? You guys can afford oil. I had to make a promise to myself that this is the last time I ever eat Sonic. I felt like I was poisoning myself. It was undescribably disgusting. And you either got no condiments or it's coated in mayo there's no in between . If you care about yourself I don't recommend eating here. I can't recommend a single item...
