I stumbled upon this place and i'm very glad that I did! The food, service, and ambiance were all very nice. It's a medium sized restaurant tucked next to a steak/seafood place(Copper Cellar). I chose to get a multi-course meal. Appetizer: Arancini con Pisell (lightly breaded deep fried arborio rice balls, sweet baby peas, fontina, mozzarella, & auricchio provolone)i, First course: Pasta Gnudi. (ricotta dumplings, creamy white wine alfredo, pesto verde) Second course: Costolette(12oz prime rib) Desert: Lemon Mascarpone Cream Cake All dishes were well garnished, had appropriate sides and were very reasonably priced! Most everything is $20 or less with the exception of things like the primerib which are still only $20-$30. Very large portions and great value for the money. It's not "cheap" but for what really is pretty high-end dining, it's extremely competitively priced. My fiancé grew up with an Italian mother and also very much enjoyed her food, so it has that Italian's stamp of approval! The sever was very attentive. The food was relatively quick. The ambiance is very nice (see photos). Overall I would absolutely suggest Cappuccino's for any couple looking for a nice date or a nice business dinner.

Me and my bride were celebrating our wedding. We did have a little bitty hiccup with our mail but the manager came out and took care of it personally. Even with the hiccup we still have a 5-star experience. Everything here was great. The mozzarella sticks, lasagna with meat sauce, prime rib, and steak were all fantastic. The mozzarella sticks in lasagna might have been the best that I've ever had. The staff was great and it had a very high-class laid-back atmosphere. There were people in suits and ties and I had camo basketball shorts and a t-shirt on and didn't even feel out of place LOL it's perfect for a nice classy quiet night out. Picture smooth jazz and a lounge Bar. Oh, and if you eat at cappuccinos you can order off of their menu as well as the Copper Cellar menu.

Our family’s search for the best Italian restaurant in Knoxville is finally over! Cappuccino’s was such an enjoyable experience from the food, to the staff, and ambiance. We had the lasagna, veal parmesan, and spaghetti with meatballs and no one left disappointed! The food was outstanding and if you go, please get the chocolate cake with fresh astrawberries for desert because it is to-die-for! Both the waitress and the manager were very friendly and went above and beyond wherever they could to make out dinning experience great. We will be returning to cappuccinos and we’re excited to try Copper Cellar, because we’re convinced it must be just as great. We’d definitely recommend them to friends and family!

Husband made reservations for 4 adults and a 16 month old for 10:45 am on 1/20/19. Greeted by nice hostess and seated. I asked if we could be away from the busy end traffic since a high chair booster and 4 adults would be a tight squeeze at a table for 4. She stayed this is where we sit 4 plus a child . I asked for the manager and he did come and asked what the issue was . I repeated that the table for 4 was small for the 5 of us. He repeated the same. I had been here previously and knew how crowded things could be . I asked about a booth for 4 that I saw on the step up level. It was out of the main flow of traffic. We could put the baby on the end. He Refused to accommodate us . There was also a small table for two directly next to us. I asked if they could put these together. I was told it was reserved. We left at 11 50 and it sat empty next to us . I should have just pushed it together myself. There were 4 adults and child behind us at a table for 10. There were 2 adults at a table for 4. The restaurant never filled up as I expected . I guess others have been treated rudely also and business for brunch has slowed. Later, I asked the hostess for the name of the owner or corporate person. She directed me back to the same person that I had the complaint about. He declined to share his bosses name. I told him I could find it on line. He then stated he didn’t know that I was not happy where were seated . I couldn’t believe his blatant lies and denial of facts. Why did he think he was asked to come to the table? So overall- the worst customer service I have EVER experienced. I will never return or recommend. The so called manager offered no options except take it or leave it. He declined my suggestions. I wanted to leave and just go eat anywhere but here but that wasn’t fair to the couple coming that we’re excited about eating here for the first time . They arrived so I just sat down and could hardly enjoy the celebration because of the interaction with the manager on duty. Total for the check with 4 waters and 2 diet Cokes, no alcohol. $113.00. Yes we did tip the waiter he was nice and it wasn’t his fault. Save your money. Go...

Got horrific food poisoning 9/9/24. Almost went to the hospital. Had promethazine prescription in the house from last year's acute pancreatitis After having meningitis for 2 weeks last summer and the doxycycline tearing up my stomach not being able to eat at all except for a few bites of applesauce. Had it not been for this medication I do believe I would have called 911.

Been here several times and always had a good experience until this unfortunate event. It was a Monday night. As a former server, I have a rule that I only eat fish on Fridays and Saturday nights. I wish I hadn't broken my own rule.

I think it was the scallops with the orange sauce, but also had arancini app, the grouper special with white wine lemon sauce. Also had two ginger ales.

I called the restaurant the next morning to alert them so that nobody else would get sick and hopefully they would do whatever a restaurant has to do when they get a call like that. Their response was to thank me for letting them know and they told me that an insurance company might be giving me a call for details. They offered no compensation of any kind, no gift certificate or anything like that. Not that I would have wanted it, I'll never EAT here again, sadly.

I hate having to leave a review like this Because you don't know if it's the food itself before it arrived at the restaurant and something happened in transit, or if it was mishandled during preparation.

I know it was this restaurant that made me sick because I had not eaten a lot at all that entire week, and had nothing to eat at all that day. By the time I got to the restaurant I had not eaten in over 24 hours.

I used to like this place and the staff 😞🤮 I'M pretty sure it was the scallops, but who knows. On Monday nights, perhaps it was leftovers from deliveries from the previous week.

I will be STRONGLY alerting all friends, acquaintances and strangers alike about the experience...

In general, I give this restaurant a five star review and I eat here very often. It is one of my favorite restaurants in town especially the cappuccinos side however, today I had a terrible experience it was getting late and my son and I wanted to eat before we headed home from West Knoxville, so we stopped by cappuccinos and they were not very busy, we were immediately seated but the host did not give my son a kids menu as we waited to ask for a kids menu and for our server, who is the host, said her name was Skyler and she would be with a shortly no one ever came back To our table. We waited about 15 minutes and another group was seated after that time. A server who was not ours, walked by our table and informed us that Skyler would be there shortly because she noticed that we had been waiting for a while and still did not have drinks on our table. We decided to give it a few more minutes five minutes later Skyler came back Around and took the tables order that had just been sat and brought them water. I know that this was Skyler because she introduced Herself to the table Skyler. At this point we are pretty upset because we have been sitting there over 20 minutes and no one had come to our table and now the table that was just sat is getting served. At this point it was already past 830 and we had a 40 minute drive home so we did not have time to stop anywhere else and start over and had to go through a drive-through for dinner. It really put a damper on...
