Monica greeted me warmly; my first visit at this special Restaurant, off to a good start. Served by Juan; both Monica and Juan came back to my table repeatedly to make sure that I was enjoying my dining experience.

Caza Brava Mexican Restaurant, nestled in the Powell area on Clinton Highway in Knoxville, Tennessee, is a charming and hospitable eatery that offers an authentic taste of Mexican cuisine. Known for its vibrant and welcoming atmosphere, Caza Brava prides itself on delivering dishes that are both very flavorful and very fresh. My order, Beef Tacos were excellent! The menu is diverse and affordable, making it a popular choice for locals and visitors alike. Whether you’re in the mood for classic tacos, savory enchiladas, or a refreshing margarita (16 oz for $4.99) Caza Brava ensures that every meal is a delightful experience. Served with warm chips and delicious chilled homemade salsa.
What sets Caza Brava apart (on my top ten list of restaurants in Tennessee in last 5 years) is its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. The restaurant’s roadside location adds to its cozy and inviting charm, making it a perfect spot for a casual meal with family and friends. They also have some events and often attract a full house with their lively music to enjoy while dining.
The staff is known for their friendly and attentive service, ensuring that every guest feels right at home. With a focus on fresh ingredients and traditional recipes, Caza Brava offers a genuine taste of Mexico that keeps patrons coming back for more. Read moreCompletely forgot to post this but here it is. I found this place because I'm a doordasher and had to pick up an order from here and I came back with my friend the next day because I got curious. First off, whoever it was who ordered this place and is reading this, I'd like to thank you for directing me to the only place I will ever return to for mexican food!!! Second off, this is hands down the best place I've ever gone to get mexican food. This is the only place I'd ever consider to have AUTHENTIC mexican food. The nachos I ordered were absolutely awesome, the guacamole and avacado slices were ACTUALLY FRESH, salsa was awesome, and the calamari is top quality by my standards and I'm really picky about my calamari. This was also the first place I've been to that sells mexican street corn and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT high props to the chefs! I came with my best friend and I forgot what they ordered but they said it was really good too! Total order was about 70-ish dollars but that's because me and my friend ordered a lot of food. We had some leftovers and took those home and both of our families were extremely impressed with the food quality and taste. The employees were extremely friendly and so much so that I've never felt more welcomed at any other restaurant and they even remembered me from the previous day when I doordashed someone's order there and it made me feel really special!!! I'd give this place 50 stars if I could. Definitely worth going...
Read moreTL;DR - Nope, go eat elsewhere. How does this place have 4.5 stars?!?! The glowing reviews must be fakes. The food was impressively bland. Daughter and I both ordered the “Fajitas California” and it included vegetables that were not actually listed on the menu (broccoli and cauliflower, which I avoid as they upset my stomach and which seemed like frozen stuff out of a bag), the meager chicken pieces were dry in mine and the steak dry in hers, there was zero seasoning except vague spiciness, plus the “Mexican street corn” from the menu description it was literally just plain frozen corn mixed in. WTAF. I didn’t even feel like I got what I ordered. My husband got fajitas with chorizo and even that was bland. The service was also mediocre - our waitress never checked on us after bringing our food until we flagged her down. The owner (maybe?) said hi and encouraged us to order dessert, but there was no way we were ordering anything else. My daughter also received a knife that wasn’t clean. Someone was smoking outdoors and the smell kept coming in, but no one did anything about it. Ugh. don’t have a different place to recommend in Knoxville… but go...
