Update: I went last Saturday and my husband and I took some family with us because we wanted them to try it. It wasn’t good. The pizza was barely being put out and there weren’t many choices as it usually is. The taste or the freshness just wasn’t there. I had bragged on how clean it is and my aunt who’s first time it was went to pick up a plate to get in line in front of me at the salad bar and the plates were dirty and wet. There was food literally still stuck down the side of a stack of the plates. It was just not my typical visit which is usually Sunday when I believe the owner is there. At least he runs the place like he is. Because it runs like a well oiled machine when he’s there! You can actually hear the Christian music and you see him going to the back and checking out the buffet tables, smiling and sitting people. It is definitely a different experience when he’s not there. I told my mom and aunt to give it another try and come with us on a Sunday so they can experience the goodness that we have the times we go.
I hated to write this review but hopefully the owner will get to see it and be aware of how things are when he isn’t around. Which is not right! It should still be the same when he’s away because if I as a customer can notice his passion, the staff should too and do what he would want when he’s not there. That’s not the first time that we’ve gone when he’s not there and that experience wasn’t that great either but I have had enough when he is to keep going back. I hope to continue to get the experience as I mentioned about our first time.
1st post- It was our first time and everything was good! I really enjoyed how friendly the employees were and how clean they keep things. We will...
Read moreBeyond disappointed. We had been regulars for an extremely long time. I was shocked by the food quality and most of all the quantity of foods.
We really love the place and really enjoy eating here. The staff is very responsive and attentive. But tables looked like hell today.
Seriously the salt and pepper shackers were almost empty.... About 1/4 " in the bottom of each one. The same with the shacker chesse and the red pepper shackers. It had to be discussion and agreement by management to do this since every table had the same amount. We ended up getting 3 chesse shackers from different tables ro complete our meal.
What else burns my butt was I was not in the mood for pizza so I just got the soup and salad bar. Was suppose to $6.99 but when I got the bill it had the $8.99 the full price. When I ask why and told her all I ate was salad, garlic rolls and some spaghetti which is all on salad and soup bar. She said the manager (guy in black shirt with glasses that a magnets in middle to pull apart and hang down). Well I ask to speak to him about she said he was too busy to talk to me about it.
But I could see him back in the kitchen looking around the corner to see if we were gone. He came out of the kitchen as I was paying but stayed on the side and would not talk to me about it.
Like I said I am beyond disappointed.... For us to eat here is 45 minute drive one way.... After tbus experience I am not sure we will...
Read morePizza Inn is 1 of my favorite Pizza places in part because it was my first job as a teenage near my house. Pizza in closed that location a few years after I left for College and the only Pizza Inn in this area was in Maryville for a while. A few years ago, they re-opened Pizza Inn at a different location on Clinton Highway. I have been there a few times in the past few years, including recently. There menu has not changed much but there are changes indeed. I am glad they still make their own Pizza Dough in house, that is a good draw to them. Apparently the all you can eat Buffet is popular as well, it was years ago too. I was happy to find out they kept the Pizzerts, the Salad Bar, the Cheesebeard, the Mac-n-Cheese and the Spaghetti Bar as well. I am personally a fan of the Cheese Stuffed Crusts, Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza, the Hawaiian Pizza, the Taco Pizza and the Supreme Max Pizza. I tried some of the new additions as well, I was pleasantly surprised with the Buffalo Chicken (but I did not my the ranch on it, I wished for Hot Sauce instead), Spicy Asian Chicken was perfect for me and the Loaded Baked Potato (too Carb heavy but was tasty). Their restaurant is clean, plenty of parking, Wheelchair accessible as well, and The Staff are...
