Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Knoxville

Sometimes you have a crew that is just magic: and that’s always been our experience at this DB. Do drinks take a while sometimes? Yes. But the staff gets to pace themselves and take time with each customer.

Some folks don’t enjoy the leaning out the window, asking about your day, etc.: but we love it, and our pupper Yogurt loves it even more. He loves that the staff sees him on the way into work and comes over to give him pets, and the wonderful pupcups.

What the team here doesn’t know is we have been homeless the entire time we’ve been coming, though we have been blessed with a house to sit. I’m incredibly sick, and doctors are unable to tell me how long I have left. In a few weeks, we have to move into a camper an hour away (though my wife will still get to visit thankfully!).

The smiles and laughs the team shares with me every morning and often the only human interaction I get during the day, other than doctors. I can’t tell you what a blessing that sort of kindness is after over a year in isolation. That few minutes at the window has kept me going through incredibly dark days.

OH MY GOD!!!!!!

So, after almost a whole year of not seeing a Dutch Bros since moving from Fort Lewis, Washington (Tacoma area if you’re unfamiliar) I haven’t seen a Dutch Bros and honestly, missed it.

Well, may the gods be praised because just near our hotel my wife found this Dutch Bros!

My wife got the Berry Mochi Rebel drink they currently have and I got a Frozen Sugar Free Vanilla Chai and let me just say, I could’ve downed ten more if the calories allowed. Coming in at just under 250kcal I knew there was a limit but if there wasn’t….I’ll take 14 right now!

Long story short, the girls working there mentioned a new surprise that is being tested by Dutch Bros and if it takes off, let the games begin because I’m sold!

The next time I’m in Knoxville, I’m totally hitting this location again and...

I absolutely LOVE Dutch Bros! Very friendly staff, I have never never seen any rude, holier-than-thou attitudes from anyone there. There's 2 options to get your order, either the walk up window, or the double lane drive thru. They offer so many options for beverages and so many different options to personalize your drink to what you want it to taste like. Hot, iced, and frozen frinks. For the hot drinks, you can adjust the temperature for it. If you order through the mobile app, you earn point for every order, and they rack up fast. You earn points for free drinks. There's also a Dutch Pass, which is one way to pay for your order. You can load however much money you want to put on there.
