Like a couple other commenters have said, the service here was horrible today. I love Krystal's. I'm sad to see they're closing them down left and right. However, with today's service, maybe it's for the best.
We stood at the register for at least 6 minutes when we were finally greeted with "What can I get you". My wife and I felt like we were not suppose to come inside to order.
We wanted to sit and eat. Every table had crumbs on it. I get it though, short staff, late afternoon. I guess I understand.
When I asked to upgrade the drink to a Roadie, the lady was totally confused. When I said the big 44 ounce cup, she said oh we are out of lids. Again, I understand. However when she didn't ask if that was all I wanted, she came back from the drive thru register to tell me the price, I asked if I could add a small chili to the order. She said no we are out of chili. When I said mustard only, you would have thought I asked for her first born or something.
OK again, staffing shortage, supply chain issues. But when a drive thru customer comes in and says I didn't get my chili dogs, and the lady told the prepper she needs 2 chili dogs. After telling me you're out of chili...are you out of chili or low on chili and reserving them for chili cheese fries and chili dogs? At least be honest. Be friendly.
I'll try another location next time to hopefully get what I want to order and have a friendlier experience. I don't forsee the Kingston Pike location being open much longer. With the mess the store is in, the lack of welcoming, the constant cars parked ahead of the drive through and around the building to manage the timer, to the lack of employees and the ones you have look either like they don't want to be there or are mad at the world. Please fix this store as it's the closest. And please update when it is. I won't spend $17 for my family again if service...
Read moreThis was a horrible experience. Me and my friend decided to make a mobile order this time when coming to Krystal’s. They had a good 20 minutes to make our order and they weren’t busy so there’s no excuses. We pull up and notice the speaker is broken, not a problem so we pull up to the window. The guy comes up and asks what he can do for us, told him we have a mobile order. He grabbed it, confirmed my name and we left, went to check the food and turned out we were missing a crap ton of it. A chilli cheese fry, a Dr Pepper and a whole 8 cookies. So we loop back around and let them know. A lady answered the second time, we were extremely nice and just let her know we were missing a couple things. She asked us to pull forward as the cookies would take a minute, not a problem. So after a minute of waiting she comes out with everything and lets us know they were short two cookies. Again not an issue. We thank her and we’re on our merry way. A few mins of driving and my friend noticed the cookies were extremely cold. Not like room temperature cold, these cookies hadn’t been cooked at all. I pulled them out and could see the literal dough. We paid $52 on this order so you know damn well I turned back around. Came up to the window again, I had no int of being rude, I just wanted the situation fixed. Well they knew damn well what they did wrong because they refused to come to the window when we came back. When we pulled out I could see an employee in the lobby doing her makeup. We also noticed the 2 classic chicks didn’t have pickles on them like they come with. This location is a hot mess. This is probably a huge reason why they’re slowly going out of business. I won’t be back at this location because all things aside I can’t look over them handing us 6 raw cookies. A woman (I think the manager) came on the speaker and YELLED “CAN I HELP U!” We tried ordering and she YELLED back saying “NO!!!! WE AINT GOT ANY!” Me and my husband looked at each other like 🤔. We just pulled off! WHO talks to there customers like that!? We will NEVERRRRR come back to this Krystals because of her! I will drive 30 minutes away instead of going here again! And we eat there (at this location) probably 3 times a WEEK! Veryyyyy disappointed!
Update… just got the SAME respond back to me just like ALL the other customers have gotten, from the “owner”. DO SOMETHING ABOUT THOSE EMPLOYEES at this location!! You can go months back and the people/customers have said the same thing what I said. The customer service at this Krystals has gotten terrible and it’s the worst fast food place of customer service that’s around Knox County right now! You guys used to have very good staff that worked there up until two years ago, then when you guys lost them it looks like anyone has been hired?! That woman was so entirely rude to me and my family instead of just saying “we are closed” no! She YELLED in the speaker saying “we ain’t got none!” Who talks to customers like that?! If you guys don’t want to keep losing your customer base at this location you are going to have to do a new rehire for most...
