The pc I wanted to buy wasnt in stock the staff offered to have it delivered. I declined and they offered to show me other options. Aka walk me through the Isles to find the best option.
(They also waited patiently on me to call my bank when my card was declined. They like to think I keep stealing from myself for some reason.)
Lets just say these people went above and beyond. I was even given a discount for the wait. (There was a small snafu when looking for the machine I ultimately chose.)
Now I'm home and my partner is beside himself with his new computer finally able to play all of his favorite games and easily able to do more work.
Props to the staff for their speed, initiative, professionalism, and diligence.
Honestly I felt bad for being a complicated customer. I was told not to worry about it, and that they were happy to help me.
We did get to have some fun geeking together about pc parts, games, and future tech.
All in all, I had fun shopping.
(Usually I really dislike shopping. Eating out? I'm always up to try good or new food.....or good new food. But in general? I would rather be home binging some series with my cat in my lap. So color me pleasantly shocked to leave the building with more energy than...
Read morePurchased expensive $2000 TV at Best Buy. No one would help me set it up at home unless I paid $200 more. Way too much money. I just wanted help with settings to get best picture and sound possible. Nothing came in box with TV that was helpful. LG and Samsung should have rep at stores occasionally to demo features, setup, and best way to use them. How to cast using laptop or cell, etc. I went to Best Buy INSTEAD of Walmart or Costco or ordering from Amazon because I thought they would be more help. They weren't. Associate that helped me pick out TV showed me a Sony Bravia when I asked which 65 inch TV had best picture. Only when I asked about LG and Samsung brands did he tell me he would pick LG. Then why did he show me Sony Bravia. WHY? What's up with that? Does Sony pay Best Buy to push their models? Now, I don't trust them. Just order TV from Amazon or wherever you can get best deal. The stores NEVER have comparable TVs next to each other to make it easier for you to pick yourself. Ex Samsung S95D vs LG G4. High-end 2024 model TVs. I went with LG, but I'm a huge fan of Samsung. My last TV was Samsung, it lasted 19 yrs. You Tube way more help than Best Buy. Costco has great warranties on TVs, something...
Read moreI will do Knoxville for about 17 years and most of that time has been in West Knoxville and Farragut specifically. Town & Country Commons used to be what Turkey Creek is now. It has a wide range of hotels, restaurants in retail stores and is conveniently located off of Interstate 40 and the Cedar Bluff exit. I have found it a bit difficult to maneuver around that area due to the fact that it's highly trafficked and there are a few lanes designated for traffic that is turning and also for traffic that is going straight to the light. It helps to pay attention to the signs before you get to the light which of course each have stop light cameras.
There are a few places which have outdoor seating but the only one I would consider safe enough to actually hang out for an extended period of time would be around Jason's Deli in Panera where there is a large patio and not a lot of traffic other than just parking lot traffic which moves to that area due to the fact that it dead ends at the end...
