Food was just "meh". Was hoping 4.4 stars would be an indication of quality, but was not.
There was no heart, soul or love in the food served. It was all processed.
We sat down to a clean table with a strong wiff of clorox. Waitress was awesome and personable.
I ordered the Philly w/fries and soup. The soup was a 'cream of flour' (processed). Fries were frozen Orida krinkle-cut (think Jr. High cafeteria quality) that were hot, yet not crisp, nor seasoned. Philly sandwhich was salty and far from a real Philly - just was 'okay', but not good. Fries had to be seasoned from the Sam's bulk buy katsup. The bottle (again think Jr High) for the katsup was open air, sticky, almost empty and heavily handled by many individuals before us.
The wife ordered the biscuits and gravy (very hard to mess up). Her food was luke warm while the plate was hot. It was returned to kitchen and brought back out - evidently microwaved. The plate itself lacked flavor.
If Gordon Ramsey was with us, I'm sure we'd never hear the end of how mediocre to (processed) bad the food was.
Again, welcoming and friendly, but nothing authentic or quality...
Read morethis is a cute little diner. it's not fancy it's not trendy, its a small town family owned restaurant. it's small but there is quite a bit of seating available even though it is as smaller. coffee was good. the waitresses where friendly and you could tell they enjoyed their job. it's obviously got it's regular crowd, yet I didn't feel out of place. food didn't take long to come out and was really good. i had an omelette, toast and hash browns(could of been a little crispier-next time ill ask). the omelette was actually on the larger size I was a lil impressed. my son got the steak and eggs and he loves it steak was cooked to his liking eggs where done sunny side up, he thought it was really good. i thought the prices were good as well. mine was like 10$ with the hash browns I believe.. my sons was 16$ or around there. if you ain't looking for somewhere fancy and enjoy fresh cooked food with that small hometown feeling id definitely recommend giving...

I haven't had anything that I didn't like. And I always leave full. I am so glad the is a great diner here. We feel right at home.
Update: The ladies that work here are absolutely the best. Our waitress today took the time to pick around the purple cabbage. This is something I have always picked out once it gets to the table. I have never complained about it knowing that is a premix and I just deal with. But she took the time because she knows us now. Thank you Jes you rock! So grateful. This is why we...
