Hy-Vee Pharmacy — Local services in Knoxville

I have been utilizing Hy-Vee pharmacy since I can remember so going back to my childhood and I’m 42 years old. In the past 3 years the service has unfortunately become much slower and nobody is willing to give us a reason why besides only having 1 licensed pharmacist on duty every day. The have an ample amount of pharmacy technicians and interns and they are the glue that holds Eric the pharmacist together on the hard days! I think that the corporate office needs to look into allowing an additional licensed pharmacist to come work down in Knoxville even if it’s part time only! I for one have been a very loyal patient with Hy-Vee Pharmacy until recently when I can’t get anyone to answer my calls when I need my med refills. It’s become that horrible and it’s not any of the pharmacy staffs problems because they’re seriously being worked to the bones and I find it to be very disrespectful for all of them to be stuck in this unfortunate situation. They are such nice ladies and Eric he’s the best of the best and I hate to take my business over to Medicap but that’s actually what’s starting to happen and it SUCKS because I want to stay at...

If I could put zero stars I would. Drive up is extremely slow. They never have your RX ready. You wait in line for 30+ min for someone to pull up behind you and them tell you to pull to the back of the line (and wait another 30 min) and the lady during the day at the drive up is always very rude. I onlybuave one RX I get from here and only get it there because it's a lot cheaper. Otherwise I wouldn't give them my service. This isn't a one time pickup. It's everytime. I’ve been going to the pharmacy ever since I moved to Knoxville from Utah which has been almost 2 years. I have had nothing but excellent service and the staff is courteous and friendly. My experience with the time has not been outrageous at all. There seems to be at least 4 workers every time I have gone. I can only imagine the column of orders they receive. Keep up the awesome jobs...
