Had a so so experience here. Met a friend for lunch and since neither of us had been here before we got a few different things to try. We got the crab rangoons, which came with 4 in the triangle shape (not a fan when they do them like this, I prefer the pouches, but this is just my preference), the filling is delicious though! It was savory with a good crab flavor and slightly sweet, the duck sauce on the table was ok, it was really watery and didn't have much flavor. I got the General Tao's chicken with fried rice and Hot & Sour soup, she got the Sesame Shrimp with fried rice and an Egg roll. I read the menu wrong and thought I got an egg roll and soup, so when they brought her egg roll and soup, I added an egg roll to mine. The soup wasn't good to me, when I had her try it she didn't like it either, it reminded us of egg drop soup with some brown sauce added and a few veggies. I ended up only eating 4 bites of it, so I decided to ask our waitress if I could just switch out the soup for eggroll since I didn't like it or eat hardly any of it. She wasn't sure so she went and asked and came back saying they would even though you could tell she wasn't happy about it. The eggroll was ok, it was a good size and was nice and crispy, the filling didn't have much flavor. When the entrees came out they were a good size for a lunch portion. The General Tao's was really good and their sauce had good flavor. The fried rice was ok (I really miss FL fried rice with veggies, up here they should call it Soy Sauce white rice with a smidge of egg in it). She really liked her Sesame Shrimp and sauce and when I tasted the sauce it was good. The Shrimps we're actually Jumbo's so that was a nice surprise she said. For dessert we tried the fried donuts and they were delicious. They are a good size and covered in suger. Overall the food was ok. The waitress was ok. Our dislikes were having to ask for refills on our drinks and the cups being full of ice. I normally never get refills and had to have mine refilled 3 times because of all the ice and each refill she just added more. The total for everything was about $34, with tip it came to $39.

Absolute worst asian food I have ever eaten. I took a couple bites and could not eat anymore. My wife is asian and have traveled through Asia. I am very familiar with asian cooking. Inside is beyond "rundown" as another reviewer described. It's a place only Frank Llyod Wright would like. Water was coming down from the ceiling in the booth next to me. I am fairly sure that leaving the back door open is likely a health code violation. I paid my bill and just wanted to leave. Waitress said you didn't eat anything. I said I know its bad. She asked if I wanted to speak to the manager/owner. I reluctantly agreed. Now if you are not a person of some measure, you may not want to attempt to discuss the food with the owner. Just saying this is not for the faint of heart. She asked if I wanted General Tso's chicken instead. I told her no the chicken tasted bad and don't want anything. She said well you paid. I said yeah I know I paid because I want to leave and not to argue with her.

Updated: March 29, 2019. The egg drop soup was great. Again the sauce on the sweet and sour chicken left something to be desired. Vegetables were not cooked at all. Only rice choices were fried and white steamed (I wanted brown rice). Egg roll was yummy. Staff was very attentive and glass was never empty. I think they may have changed ownership since the last time I ate here. Thai and Malaysian food is now on the menu. Old review: The building is a little run down, but don't let that stop you. It was clean. My glass was never empty. Very attentive staff. I had sweet and Sour chicken, egg drop soup and an egg roll. Loved the soup. Entree was good but for some reason I wasn't pleased with the sauce... Wasn't like I remembered when I ate here years ago. I'll be back and see if it's any different.

Met with 5 other people for dinner Saturday evening. The food was pretty good. Fried rice had no veggies in it. White rice was just ok. Brown sauce that my beef and broccoli came with was tasty as well. But did not necessarily care for the beef texture. I am giving this place a one star. After ordering a take-out order of beef and broccoli for home and spending $30+ dollars at this place, I was treated very rudely. As we are exiting the restaurant, the older female manager of the says to me - the only Black person/minority in the place - "You didn't pay for your food!" I said, "I put cash on the table (in a black check case) that's still sitting at the table. (I kept wondering why the server never came back to retrieve the payment and even said something to the other guests.) The server never returned to pick it up." She immediately goes to retrieve it - to see if what I said is true - before I exit the building. Then she comes back and says, "Did you take the receipt?" I reply, "Yes, I did take the receipt for the food I just paid for." She says, "Give it back. I will write you another one." Then I wait for the same young, passive aggressive male server to hand-write the duplication information on another sheet of paper... Because I'm not one for bullying or rude treatment in any way, I proceed to tell her that it was very rude of her to say loudly that I did not pay for my food. She half-apologized and replied that the server didn't want to interrupt our conversation. That was a lie as we had been talking non-stop from the time we arrived and even as we were exiting the establishment. The server came to the table at least 6-7 times - to take orders, refresh the drinks and bring out the appetizers and entrees. I even had to speak to him about the receipt/check so that he could order me another entree to go. And he brought the entree back with an updated check amount! So that response made no sense whatsoever. I did not snatch back my generous tip, because we are suppose to treat others as we would have them treat us. But I won't be going back. The half-justification-of-bad-service-apology was simply not enough for me to go back, after about a 15 year hiatus because to me the food is just so-so, adequate anyway. Oh and the water faucet did not work in the bathroom. In fact, the knob just fell off and the bowl was dry, meaning - that it's been a problem. So all those folks are using the bathroom and exiting, possible without washing their hands; I had hand sanitizer in my purse. I'm not sure if it was racially motivated or not. But I did not feel comfortable after that and told her so. We pray for those who despitefully use and persecute us. But it is such a hard pill to swallow when you simply want to have a good night, you are spending hard-earned money and you are in turn, singled out and treated rudely. Assumptions about people will net you bad reviews and hit you in the wallet. Now instead of a recommendation, you earned a poor review and warning to other...

I ordered the Pho Soup from Plum Tree, I looked up their menu online since I've never been there before. It said it's $9 for the Pho so I called in the order and looked forward to picking it up. When I got to the drive thru, the maskless woman at the window told me the price was $13.06 I told her I thought it was $9. She said sorry the price has gone up. Then I said but everywhere online (their website, Google, pics posted of their menu) it says $9 for Pho. She said they haven't updated it yet but it's been like that for a while and that when the price of beef goes up so does the price, sorry. I'm just like, that's not how it works, if that is what it says on your company website and Google menu then that is the price. Anything else is illegal and considered false advertisement. And if it's been that way for a while then why has it yet to be updated??

She didn't care that I was inconvenience I'm glad I had a few extra dollars in the car. Plum Tree didn't take responsibility for their miscommunication and false advertisement. I hate that I ended up paying for it. I should have just drove off! I hate bad customer service and that is what I received. Update your menu and take responsibility for...
